The Lynn English (1-1) and Lynn Tech (2-3) baseball teams squared off at Fraser Field Friday evening, with the Bulldogs coming out on top in a 6-1 final.
“We played well early and we competed, but one too many mistakes were the difference,” said Tech Coach Eddie Lewis, whose starting nine are made up of five juniors and four freshmen. “I expected it to be a bit of a learning curve with us being so young. They have a ton of talent and I’m very excited to watch them grow. All the credit goes out to Lynn English and their guys. We’re looking forward to growing from this game.”
Tech visits Keefe Monday at 3:30 p.m., while English hosts Everett the same day at 7 p.m.
