LYNN

Arrests

Paul Addonizio, of Orchard Street, was arrested at 10:07 a.m. Tuesday on warrant charges of larceny under $1,200 and shoplifting over $250 by asportation.

Shelby Carter, 29, of Willow Street, was arrested at 6:50 p.m. Tuesday on charges of trespassing and warrant arrest.

Mario Candela, 31, was arrested at 7:04 p.m. Tuesday on charges of trespassing. He also had outstanding warrant charges for possession of Class A and B drugs, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and a number plate violation to conceal identity.

Victor Perez Virula, 30, was arrested at 6:52 p.m. Tuesday on a charge of trespassing.

Derek Smith, 54, of Newhall Street, was arrested at 7:18 p.m. Tuesday on charges of possession of a Class B drug and trespassing.

Bianca Rivera, of Washington Street, was arrested at 10:19 p.m. Tuesday on warrant charges of credit card fraud under $1,200, identity fraud, and larceny under $1,200.

Reports of 911 hang-ups at 1:47 a.m. Tuesday on Eastern Avenue, 9:16 a.m. on Western Avenue, 9:56 a.m. on Menlo Avenue, 11:29 a.m. on Fernwood Avenue, 1:12 p.m. on Broad Street, 2:09 p.m. on Johnson Street, 6:01 p.m. on Surfside Road, 8:07 p.m. on Bowler Street, and 8:33 p.m. on Essex Street

Arrest

James Garrett, a 17-and-over male of Essex Street, was arrested at 4:23 a.m. Tuesday for a charge of trespassing. 

Alarms

A report of a burglar alarm at 2:56 a.m. Tuesday at Walgreens on Walnut Street. Building appears to be secure; a report at 6:08 p.m. at Extra Space Storage on Central Street. Accidental/defective alarm.  

Animal Complaint

A report of an animal complaint at 9:52 a.m. Tuesday on Sherwood Forest Lane. ACO McCullough was following up on a notice of bite. Services rendered; a report at 11:21 a.m. on Venice Avenue. ACO McCullough responded to follow up on a dog bite. Services rendered; a report at 4:51 p.m. on Central Street. ACO McCullough responded to pick up two puppies and was able to make contact with the owners. Services rendered. 

Disturbance

A report of a disturbance at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at CVS on Broadway/ The store manager reported a male inside the store being confrontational and refusing to leave. Caller stated he was being aggressive and physically put his hands on him. Investigated. 

Motor Vehicles

A report of a motor vehicle accident at 12:05 p.m. Tuesday on Hamilton Street. Officer reported being off with a minor crash. Services rendered; a report at 5 p.m. at Irontown Dinor on Main Street. A vehicle drove into the storefront. There were no visible injuries. Report taken. 

A report of a suspicious motor vehicle at 12:43 p.m. Tuesday at Stop & Shop on Main Street. Officer was flagged down by a passerby for a suspicious vehicle in the lot. It was a good intent call; the man was taking a nap. Services rendered. 

Noise Complaints

A report of a noise complaint at 4:53 p.m. Tuesday on Forest Street. A man reported a noise complaint involving a refrigeration truck parked near his house. Services rendered; a report at 7:49 p.m. on Valeri Drive. Caller filed a noise complaint for music being played at an excessive volume. Services rendered. 

Road Rage

A report of road rage at 12:52 p.m. Tuesday on Route 1. Caller advised that he was in a road rage incident and was following the other vehicle at a high rate of speed southbound towards Revere. He was advised multiple times to stop following the vehicle, but the driver insisted on following and became verbally abusive. Referred to other agency. 

Shoplifting

A report of shoplifting at 10:49 a.m. Tuesday at Victoria’s Secret on Broadway. Officer responded to a past shoplifting of approximately $1,500. Loss prevention is forwarding suspect information

Unwanted Parties

A report of an unwanted party at 3:14 a.m. Tuesday at CVS on Broadway. Caller was the manager and reported an unwanted party loitering. No such person can be found; a report at 4:23 a.m. at Dunkin’ on Broadway. Caller reported a man was in the business and had been trespassed from the business. Arrest of an over-17 male made; a walk-in report at 4:50 p.m. at Creation and Learning Station on Central Street. A walk-in reported juveniles causing a disturbance. Dispersed gathering.
