Lynn’s co-op lacrosse team cradled its way to a 15-2 win against Malden Thursday. In enemy territory, the Jets received goals from six players and upped their record to 2-6.
Leading the offense were Alex Waterman (4 goals), Jordan Em (4), Ian Brown (3), Maegan Baker (2), Derrick Sok (1), and John Briggs (1).
The Jets return to Manning Field Monday against Mystic Valley Regional Charter School at 5 p.m.

Lynn Tech Coach Eddie Lewis said his team has been working hard to “get that signature win.” Thursday morning at Manning Field, his Tigers (4-6) did just that.
“Today, we found a rhythm and got it done,” Lewis said. “We suffered some tough losses early, but I give my guys all the credit in the world… I’m hoping with this statement win, we get hot during the back half of the season.”
Jendol Diaz earned the win with six strikeouts, while Jaeran Quinones picked up the save. Christopher Boyd and Quinones each batted 2-for-2 with two RBI, while Joseph Ploude ripped an RBI single.
Newburyport 3

Knotted in the eighth inning, Newburyport escaped Manning Feld victorious after a passed ball led to a late run. Guilmer Galva (RBI), Jariel Benzan, and Julian Rodriguez (RBI) collected hits for English, which didn’t commit a single error. Engel Thomas (7 IP) pitched for the Bulldogs, surrendering nine hits and two runs to go with no walks and six strikeouts.

Despite English’s Kate Johansson punching out five Revere batters, that’s as good as it got for the Bulldogs in Revere. LeaNyah Pineiro reached base three times via walks.

In Thursday’s consolation game of the Medway April Vacation Softball Tournament, St. Mary’s met its match against Apponequet. The Spartans plated four runs in the fourth inning, but to no avail.
Foxborough took down Medway, 12-2, in the championship game.
