Arrests

Jesse Aponte, 52, of Howard Street, was arrested at 1:12 p.m. Wednesday on charges of possession of a Class A drug, subsequent offense.

Larchilles Bruton, 42, of City Hall Square, was arrested at 3:27 p.m. Wednesday on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct.

William Sapp, 45, of Lafayette Street, was arrested at 6:40 p.m. Wednesday on charges of violating the drinking-in-public ordinance and trespassing.

Reports of 911 hang-ups at 1:09 a.m. Wednesday on Barrett Street, 6:03 a.m. on Robinson Street, 6:16 a.m. on Chestnut Street, 6:38 a.m. on Neptune Boulevard, 6:52 a.m. on Buffum Street, 7:31 a.m. on O’Callaghan Way, 7:48 a.m. on Washington Street, 7:49 a.m. on O’Callaghan Way, and 11:16 a.m. on Neptune Boulevard.

Reports of alarms at 4:29 a.m. Wednesday on Market Street, 5:56 a.m. on Brookline Street, 9:39 a.m. on Flint Street, 4:19 p.m. on Moulton Street, and 10:09 p.m. on Walnut Street.

Reports of animal complaints at 11:21 a.m. Wednesday on Lynn Shore Drive, 12:07 p.m. on Parkland Avenue, and 1:32 p.m. on Regina Road.

Arrest

Stephan Allen Trotter, 40, of Washington Street, was arrested at 12:15 p.m. for charges of two department warrants, operating a vehicle with a license revoked, and no inspection/sticker. 

Summons

Rachel Reyes, 48, of Lowell Street, was summoned at 12:46 a.m. Wednesday for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration. 

Animal Complaints

A report of a dog complaint at 9:10 a.m. Wednesday on Keys Drive. Caller reported that a German Shepherd was left alone in an apartment all day and barked excessively. Citation warning; a report at 9:11 a.m. on Washington Street at Allens Lane. A dog was reported running loose. Dog returned home. Services rendered; a report at 10:53 a.m. on Brown Street. Caller reported that her neighbor’s dog barks excessively. She tried to reason with the dog owner, but the dog owner told her off. Citation warning; a report at 12:24 p.m. on Margin Street. Citation warning.

No action required; a report at 2:38 a.m. on Chestnut Street. The same anonymous caller stated he heard a female screaming in the basement. Investigated.

A report of a brush fire at 2:21 p.m. Wednesday at LL Bean on Andover Street. Caller reported a mulch fire. Fire department handled. 

Lost/Found Property

A report of lost/found property at 9:50 a.m. Wednesday at Bridge to Learning on Lowell Street. Services rendered. 

Motor Vehicles

A report of a motor vehicle accident at 11:31 a.m. Wednesday at Buddha’s Tavern on Washington Street. One party was transferred to Salem Hospital. Investigated.

Citation warning; a report at 10:23 a.m. on Walnut Street at Upton Street. Citation warning; a report at 10:39 a.m. on Caller Street at Walnut Street. Verbal warning; 10:52 a.m. on Wallis Street at Elm Street. Arrest(s) made; a report at 11:22 a.m. on Lowell Street at Danforth Street. Citation warning; a report at 12:15 p.m. on Lowell Street. Arrest(s) madel; a report at 2:11 p.m. on Lynn Street. Citation issued. 

A report of a suspicious motor vehicle at 12:46 a.m. Wednesday on Lowell Street. Officer confiscated a plate. 

Neighborhood Dispute

A report of a neighborhood dispute at 1:52 p.m. Wednesday on Lowell Street. Neighbors were cutting down trees not on their property line. Investigated. 

Suspicious Activity

A report of suspicious activity at 11:58 a.m. Wednesday on Squanto Road. Investigated. 

Unwanted Person/Guest

A report of an unwanted person/guest at 8:50 a.m. Wednesday on Pleasant Street. Caller wanted a party to leave. Could not locate/GOA. 

SAUGUS

Alarm

A report of a burglar alarm at 12:02 p.m. Wednesday on Glen Street. Canceled by alarm company. 

Animal Complaints

A report of animal complaints at 10:56 a.m. Wednesday on Ames Street in Lynn. ACO McCullough transported an animal to the location. Services rendered; a report at 11:41 a.m. on Lisa Lane. ACO was called for a barking dog. Investigated; a report at 2:02 p.m. at Creation and Learning Station on Central Street. Car 3 reported a raccoon on the roof of the building. ACO notified. 

Assist Citizen

A report of citizen assistance at 1:30 a.m. Wednesday at McDonald’s on Broadway. Caller believed he had dropped his wallet near the drive-thru window. Services rendered.

Disturbance

A report of a disturbance at 12:02 a.m. Wednesday at the Square One Mall on Broadway. Mall security reported a large group of motor vehicles in the lower lot. Services rendered. 

Harassment

A report of harassment at 10:56 a.m. Wednesday on Cliff Road. A woman went into the station and reported she was being harassed on Instagram. She was unaware of who the person was. Services rendered.

Missing Person

A walk-in report of a missing person at 7:21 p.m. Wednesday at the Public Safety Building on Hamilton Street. A man walked into the station to report that a girl he had been on a road trip with had left all her property behind with him and left with an unknown man. Report taken. 

Motor Vehicles

A report of a motor vehicle accident at 12:06 a.m. Wednesday at UPS Warehouse on Salem Turnpike. Caller reported a two-vehicle accident with no reported injuries. Services rendered; a report at 2:46 p.m. at Floor and Decor on Main Street. Verbal warning; a report at 6:19 p.m. on Bristow Street at Wickford Street. Verbal warning. 

Shoplifting

A report of a shoplifting at 1:52 p.m. Wednesday at Macy’s on Broadway. Loss prevention detained a shoplifter for taking property worth $147. Services rendered. 

Unwanted Party

A report of an unwanted party at 6:28 p.m. Wednesday at Burger King on Broadway. Employee reported a male sleeping on the grass in front of the restaurant. Peace restored.
