You know what I’ve been thinking? You just can’t count anyone out…
After starting the season 0-3 and 1-6, Lynn’s co-op lacrosse team has flipped the switch and rattled off three consecutive wins against Malden (15-2), Mystic Valley (8-0), and Tech Boston (4-0).
Not only did the stretch include back-to-back shutouts, but a 27-2 scoring differential and two wins on enemy turf.
Kicking things off against Malden, Alex Waterman and Jordan Em were men on a mission, scoring four goals apiece. They were followed offensively by Ian Brown (3 goals), Maegan Baker (2), Derrick Sok (1), and John Briggs (1).
Days later, against Mystic Valley, Waterman, Em, and Brown stayed hot with two-goal performances. Baker scored and dished out an assist.
Brown led the way Wednesday with two goals against Tech Boston, while Jacoby Comeau delivered a helper.
Next up for the Jets is another date with Mystic Valley, so a four-game winning streak is certainly in play. The road game is set for Friday at 4:15 p.m.
Jets, good week.
