As for Peabody – which didn’t commit a single error – Noah Crocker batted 2-for-3, while Jayden Cunningham, Ethan Waybret, and Ty Lomasney drove in runs. Max Silvia (6 2/3 IP) got the start for the Tanners, surrendering just three hits and two walks alongside 11 strikeouts.
Peabody hosts Beverly at noon Saturday, while English returns to action Monday in Malden with first pitch slated for 4 p.m.
