Saugus senior Connor Kelleher made his first start on the mound and threw a no-hitter on just 67 pitches to lead the Sachems past Northeast Metro, 10-0.
Kelleher walked three batters — the only times Northeast reached base — but was locked in from the start and highly efficient with his pitch count.
Kelleher also excelled at the plate, going 3-for-3 with an RBI and three runs scored.
Saugus scored in every inning, plating two runs in the first, one in the second, and erupting for five in the third. The Sachems added two more in the fourth to round out the scoring.
