The No. 36 Rams played a solid road game, but couldn’t find an equalizer in its Division 2 matchup against No. 29 Minnechaug. Classical checked out with a 14-7 record behind first-year Coach Jason Rogato.
“The team fought hard all year until the very last out. Unfortunately, today, we couldn’t get a run across,” Rogato said. “Christian (Figueroa) pitched great in his final game. He left everything out there on the mound. He also got some help in the field. Rolky Brea and Emerson Lara made two amazing catches in the same inning to keep it close. It was a successful season. I’m proud of how hard the team worked all year. It’s a great group of young men.”
