With a final record of 11-9 from Coach Geoff Beckett and company, Thursday evening marked the end for Swampscott’s boys lacrosse team. The No. 15 Big Blue fell, 14-6, against second-seeded Weston in the Division 4 Round of 16. Swampscott picked up a Round-of-32 win against No. 18 Fairhaven Monday. Weston punched its Round-of-8 ticket and will play No. 7 Manchester-Essex (TBD).

In search of another Division 1 title, the top-ranked Eagles (20-0) flew over No. 8 Needham behind singles wins from Rudr Malayya, Jack Prokopis, and Luke Free. The Prep will battle No. 5 Concord-Carlisle in the semifinals (TBD).
