LYNN — The Lynn Housing Authority & Neighborhood Development (LHAND), as the Collaborative Applicant for the Lynn Continuum of Care (LCoC), coordinates all activities of the LCoC. LHAND is hosting the LCoC annual meeting on Thursday, June 12, at noon at the LHAND Community Room, 10 Church St. Lynn.
The Lynn Continuum of Care is a coalition of individuals and organizations in the City of Lynn working collaboratively to end homelessness and to connect individuals and families – including unaccompanied youth – with mainstream resources, allowing them to move into and maintain stable, permanent housing.
“LHAND continues to work in different ways to address housing insecurities for the residents in the City,” said Charles Gaeta, executive director of LHAND.
The annual meeting will include the presentation of the 2025 LCoC Scholarship and the election of the 2025 board of directors. In addition, the LCoC will present the Beacon of Hope Award to recognize recipients who have demonstrated exemplary service and dedication to those who are homeless and impoverished in the community.
The LCoC welcomes any individual or organization with an interest in understanding and addressing the issues related to homelessness, and a desire to participate in some way in the City of Lynn’s Coordinated Plan to End Homelessness.
