LYNN

Arrests

Shane Johnson, 45, of Willow Street, was arrested at 1:55 a.m. Thursday for a charge of a straight warrant. Johnson was issued warrants for receiving a stolen credit card and credit card fraud under $1,200.

Carlos Sique Bamaca, 24, of Brownville Ave, was arrested at 4:33 p.m. Thursday for the following charges: straight warrant, suspended license, license plate violation, operation of motor vehicle, and failing to change name/address on a license. 

James Sleeper, 59, was arrested at 12:14 a.m. Thursday for destruction of property under $1,200. 

Diana Sosa, 30, was arrested at 6:03 a.m. for disorderly conduct charges and local ordinance violations related to the possession of a knife with a blade.

Alarms 

Reports of alarms at 4:12 a.m. Thursday at Fecteau Leary Middle School, 8:10 a.m. on Green Street, a fire alarm at 11:32 p.m. at Lynn Shore Drive, an alarm at 3:27 p.m., 3:37 p.m., 7:37 p.m. on Broad Street, 4:03 p.m. on Bessom Street, a fire alarm at 4:30 p.m. on Franklin Street, 9:12 p.m., and at 9:39 p.m. on High Street. 

Motor Vehicles

Reports of motor vehicle accidents on Thursday at 12:18 p.m. on Union Street, 3:00 p.m. on Western Ave, 4:17 p.m. on Dartmouth Street, 5:25 p.m. on Broadway Street,  5:42 p.m. on Broadway Street, and 9:54 p.m. on Union Street.

Reports of motor vehicle stops at 2:05 a.m. on Mall Street, 7:52 a.m. on Commercial Street, 10:38 a.m. on Chatham Street, 4:15 p.m. on Adams Street, 5:34 p.m. on Exchange Street, 5:52 p.m. on Parkland Avenue, 6:03 p.m., 6:24 p.m., 6:30 p.m., 6:44 p.m., 6:56 p.m. on Parkland Avenue. 

Reports of theft of motor vehicles at 11:52 a.m. Thursday on Washington Street and 3:10 p.m. on Nahant Street.

Noise

Reports of noise at 12:28 a.m. Thursday on Ainsworth Place, 4:15 a.m. on Chatham Street, 9:04 p.m. on Blakeley Street, 10:22 p.m. on Dowfield Street, and 10:43 p.m. on Rowell Avenue.

LYNNFIELD

Arrest

Geovanie Luis Torres Figuera, 22, of Johson Street, was arrested at 9:17 a.m. Thursday for an out of town warrant.

A report of an alarm at 10:23 a.m. Thursday on Walnut Street. Accidental/defective alarm; a report at 11:38 p.m. on Market Street. Accidental/defective alarm.

Reports of disturbances at 3:41 a.m. Thursday on Amherst Road and 8:16 p.m. on Commercial Street. 

General Complaints

Reports of general complaints at 6:46 a.m. Thursday on Lime Street and 10:36 a.m. on Evans Road. Both were reports taken. 

Larceny/Forgery/Fraud

A report of larceny/forgery/fraud at 2:27 p.m. Thursday on Frost Lane. Services rendered. 

Motor Vehicles

A report of a motor vehicle crash at 2:17 p.m. Thursday on Ocean Avenue. Vehicle towed. 

Reports of motor vehicle stops at 11:08 a.m. on Humphrey Street and 11:19 a.m. on Humphrey Street at Broughton Road. Both were verbal warnings. 

Property Checks

Reports of property checks at 2:19 a.m. Thursday on Pleasant Street, 3:14 a.m. and 11:32 a.m. on Community Road, 3:17 a.m. and 11:39 a.m. on Atlantic Avenue, 8:22 p.m. on Stramski Way, 10:01 p.m. on Lighthouse Lane, and 11:09 p.m. on Ocean Avenue. 

SAUGUS

Alarms

A report of a burglar alarm at 3:37 a.m. Thursday at Continental Restaurant on Broadway. Building appears to be secure; a report at 8:03 a.m. on Juniper Drive. Dispatch canceled by alarm company; a report at 8:20 p.m. at Carter’s on Broadway. Building appears to be secure; a report at 8:58 p.m. on Pintree Drive. Accidental/defective alarm; a report at 10:18 p.m. at Dick’s Sporting Goods on Broadway. Accidental/defective alarm.    

Animal Complaints

A report of an animal complaint at 9:26 a.m. Thursday on Cliff Road. Caller reported two loose huskies. Dogs returned to family; a report at 9:51 a.m. at Army Barracks Inc. on Broadway. ACO reported that someone tied up a cat to a tree. Brought to station; a report at 10:39 a.m. on Pennsylvania Avenue. Caller reported that a dog had been left inside a car since 8 a.m. ACO reported that the readings in the vehicle were between 105 and 110 degrees. He took possession of the dog. Note was left to call ACO. Dog released to honor with citation; a report at 12:03 p.m. at Foot Locker on Broadway. Caller reported a dog left inside a camper. ACO reported the camper is in the shade and the dogs are in good shape. Investigated; a report at 3:25 p.m. on Ames Street. ACO responded to Lynn to release a cat. Returned home to family.  

Assist Citizen

A report of citizen assistance at 6:34 p.m. Thursday on Lincoln Avenue. Caller reported he received $30 in counterfeit money. Cancled prior to arrival. 

Disturbances

A report of a disturbance at 2:58 a.m. Thursday at the rail trail entrance on Laurel Street. A man reported that a female who asked for a ride is refusing to leave the area. Investigated; a report at 9 a.m. at Anna Parker Playground and Fields on Essex Street. ACO reported a male causing a disturbance with no shirt on. Peace restored; a report at 2:26 p.m. at Saugus Middle High School on Pearce Memorial Drive. Caller was an administrator with the school and reported that there was a group of juveniles on property that didn’t belong there. Peace restored; a report at 3:37 p.m. at Anna Parker Playground on Essex Street. Caller reported that two males were on dirt bikes doing donuts in the playground. Area search negative; a report at 6 p.m. on Main Street at Founders Way. Caller reported he was attacked by a female. No police service necessary. 

Motor Vehicle

A report of a motor vehicle accident at 9:49 p.m. Thursday at Wendy’s on Broadway. State police to handle. 

A walk-in report of a motor vehicle leaving the scene of an accident at 8:47 p.m. Thursday at the Public Safety Building on Hamilton Street. A woman walked into the station and reported that her vehicle was rear-ended on Walnut Street. Report taken. 

A report of a motor vehicle stop at 9:25 p.m. Thursday on Hamilton Street. Citation issued. 

Neighborhood Dispute

A report of a neighborhood dispute at 9:02 a.m. Thursday on Lynn Fells Parkway. Call was for an issue over a land surveyor. Peace restored. 

Noise Complaint

A report of a noise complaint at 2:44 a.m. Thursday at TJ Maxx on Broadway. Caller reported loud music. Investigated; a report at 2:49 a.m. at Veterans Memorial Elementary School on Hurd Avenue. Caller reported loud music. Investigated, nothing found.

Suspicious Activity

A report of suspicious activity at 7:20 p.m. Thursday at Walmart on Broadway. Loss prevention reported that a customer was showing an inappropriate picture of their private area to a female employee. Report taken.  

Suspicious Person

A report of a suspicious person at 11:33 p.m. Thursday on Landale Avenue. Caller reported an ongoing issue with neighbors. Peace restored. 

SWAMPSCOTT

Reports of area checks at 2:12 p.m. Thursday on Monument Avenue.

Hazardous Conditions

Reports of hazardous conditions at 5:37 a.m. Thursday on New Ocean Street and Pine Street, 5:02 p.m. on Fisherman’s Beach, 7:36 p.m. on Archer Street.
