LYNN — The Lynn Music Festival, a free and family-friendly event presented by the Lynn Music Foundation and hosted by Mr. PSA and DJ Real Wavey Rey, is returning this Saturday to Red Rock Park from 1 P.M. to 8 P.M. The festival aims to unite the Lynn community through a celebration of music, art, and local culture. The event will feature artists performing music from a range of genres, including indie rock, hip hop, pop, and R&B.

The lineup goes as follows:

  • King Philip 2:00 P.M. Boston hip-hop artist/producer King Philip has toured 15 countries. His latest project, Dorchester Forever, is an album/documentary honoring his roots.
  • Malik Elijah: 2:20 P.M. Malik is a hip-hop artist who blends classic lyricism with experimental layers. His genre-pushing music is defiant, dynamic, and uniquely his own.
  • Yelena: 2:40 P.M. Yelena is a two-time Boston Music Awards Latin Artist of the Year, known for her emotionally rich performances that blend cultural pride with modern soul. She is a Cuban-Dominican Latin soul powerhouse.
  • Sandy Pérez & The Afro-Cuban Drumming Group 3:00 P.M. This ensemble, led by master drummer Sandy Pérez, delivers powerful rhythms and ancestral beats deeply rooted in Afro-Cuban tradition.
  • Eva Davenport 3:40 P.M. Eva’s high-energy, soulful performances are an empowering voice for love, healing, and justice, fostering connection and community through music.
  • Felicity Estelle 4:00 P.M. Based in the Bronx, Lynn-born Felicity captivates audiences with her soulful R&B-pop, heartfelt lyrics, compelling vocals, and electrifying stage presence.
  • Saeddyr 4:20 P.M. With origins in Salem, Saeddyr fuses mythology, feminine power, and sonic drama into a cinematic tapestry of haunting harmonies and raw growls.
  • Gold Hoax 5:00 P.M. Synth-infused folk-rock textures blend with storytelling in the music of this Boston-based indie rock duo.
  • The Rupert Selection 5:30 P.M. Channeling ’90s alt-rock energy with modern flair, this Boston-based band fills the stage with raw riffs and explosive rhythm.

The lineup also features DREION, a dynamic vocalist, songwriter, and motivational speaker hailing from Omaha, Nebraska. DREION showcased his talent on the 26th season of The Voice, performing Earth, Wind & Fire’s “Shining Star” for his blind audition and ultimately joining Team Snoop Dogg. He is now Boston-based and has graduated from Berklee College of Music and opened up for acts such as T-Pain and Kirk Franklin. Through his music, DREION endeavors to use his platform to uplift and inspire. Being a survivor of the foster care system himself, foster families are invited to join him at the event for a special Q&A session at 6 P.M., followed by his headlining performance at 7 P.M. During the performance, he intends to perform a song dedicated to his experiences in foster care and aims to invite foster families to join him on stage, creating a significant moment of solidarity, endurance, and commemoration.

“I hope the Lynn community not only becomes fans of my music, but supporters of my journey from tragedy to triumph,” DREION said. “I represent the underdogs like foster youth and marginalized communities who are always overlooked but will always rise to the top! Supporting my journey means uplifting the voices of foster youth in the Lynn community and around the world who simply want to be loved, acknowledged, and supported! I hope my musical activism and live performance inspires and energizes this community to support the underdogs of their community in any way possible. I’m excited to share my new uplifting music dedicated to foster care awareness and love!”

In addition to the musical performances, the festival will feature food vendors, art booths, and community resource tables. Vendors that will be at the event will include Pretty Little Links, 360 Fiesta Entertainment, Hopscotch Labs, YWRLD, Smileland Pediatric Dentistry and Braces, Crunch Fitness (Lynn), Lynn Hispanic Scholarship Fund Inc, ABA Centers of America, Aexiasbeautywork, and Edwin Rosales and Cristian Henriquez. With food vendors including Bake & Bites, Arepa La Mazorca Inc., Cuckie’s Ice Cream, Papa Jack’s, Chef Misha, Andreas Taquería, Sa’Meri Cafe, Eclipse Lito Cafe, and Bent Water Brewing.

To help alleviate traffic congestion, a complimentary trolley service will be offered to festival-goers, a collaborative effort by North Shore Community College and Salem Trolley. Festival-goers can park at the North Shore Community College parking lot on Washington Street. A trolley will provide transport directly to the festival from 1 P.M. to 8 P.M.

The festival is funded by Save the Harbor, Mass Development (Lynnspire), and Lynn Cultural Council. It will be sponsored by Inc.ubate Coworking Lynn, 4 Insurance LLC, Golden Builder Construction Inc., IntiNova Consulting Services, All in One Graphics, RestoPros of North Boston, Rick’s Auto Collision, Inc., King Movers & Storage, and ZBAY TAX SERVICES.
