SWAMPSCOTT — A pedestrian on a scooter was struck by a motor vehicle while riding down Humphrey Street at approximately 4:02 p.m. on Thursday afternoon with no reported injuries, according to the Swampscott Police Department.
Sightings of an ambulance in the area and traffic clogging up Humphrey Street left those traveling in the area confused on what caused the issue. The pedestrian’s identity was not disclosed — and the Police Department confirmed that two police cruisers had responded to the scene.
