LYNN

Arrests

Xavier Delacruz, 23, of Adams Street, was arrested at 1:26 p.m. Sunday for a charge of a straight warrant. Delacruz was issued warrants for larceny under $1,200, resisting arrest, witness/juror/police officer/court official intimidation, and interfering with a police officer. 

Christian Moran, 22, of Great Woods Terrace, was arrested at 6:01 p.m. Sunday for a charge of a straight warrant. Moran was issued warrants for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration, an unregistered motor vehicle, and a marked lanes violation. 

Zachary Bridges, 38, was arrested at 8:05 p.m. Sunday for a charge of a straight warrant. Bridges received warrants for larceny from a building, trespassing, and break and entry in the daytime for a felony. 

Douglas Bonilla, 49, of Nelson Street, was arrested at 10:42 p.m. Sunday for charges of operating under the influence of liquor and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.

Reports of disturbances at 12:18 a.m. Sunday on Newhall Street, 12:47 a.m. on Whiting Street, 2:21 a.m. on Aspen Street, 6:18 a.m. on Willow Street, 1 p.m. on Munroe Street, 1:53 p.m. on Willow Street, 2:21 p.m. on Willow Street, 3:31 p.m. on Market Square, 4:12 p.m. at Walmart on Lynnway, 4:37 p.m. on Kings Hill Drive, 6:42 p.m. on Federal Street, 6:55 p.m. on Washington Street, 7:31 p.m. at Goldfish Pond on Lafayette Park, 10:19 p.m. on High Street, and 11:29 p.m. on Highland Avenue. 

Fight

A report of a fight at 11:12 p.m. Sunday on Liberty Street.

Hazardous Conditions

Reports of hazardous conditions at 9:56 a.m. Sunday on Victory Road and Western Avenue, 11:03 a.m. on Manning Road, 7:39 p.m. on Harding Street and Lynnway, and 11:03 p.m. on Myrtle Street. 

Hazmat

A report of a hazmat situation at 8:08 a.m. Sunday on Munroe Street. 

Larceny

Reports of larceny at 8:18 a.m. Sunday on Mt. Pleasant Street, 10:10 a.m. on Lynnway, and 2:01 p.m. on Bacheller Street. 

Missing Person

A report of a burglar alarm at 12:39 a.m. Sunday at Eastern Bank on Lincoln Avenue. Canceled prior to arrival; a report at 2:33 p.m. in Broadway. Accidental/defective alarm; a report at 10:49 p.m. at Dunkin’ on Broadway. No such person can be found.  

Assault/A & B

A report of assault/A & B at 12:23 a.m. Sunday on Blueridge Avenue. Caller reported a physical disturbance that took place, and she and a friend had been injured by his brother’s girlfriend. Services rendered. 

Assist Citizen

A report of citizen assistance at 11:44 a.m. Sunday on Walnut Street. Services rendered. 

Disturbance

A report of a disturbance at 4:53 p.m. Sunday at Route One Car Wash on Broadway. Caller reported that they were refusing to wash his car and would not refund his money. No police services necessary; a report at 6:56 p.m. at the Square One Mall on Broadway. Security reported that several hundred vehicles were on the upper deck of the mall. Officer reported that it was a car meet-up organized on TikTok. Dispersed gathering; a report at 7:30 p.m. at Home Depot on Broadway. Caller reported a large gathering of vehicles on the lot. Dispersed gathering; a report at 8:41 p.m. on Sim Road. Caller reported an ongoing issue with a female on the third floor. Officers reported it was a verbal disagreement between roommates. Peace restored; a report at 9 p.m. on Juniper Drive. Caller reported that her downstairs tenant was causing a disturbance. Advised legal help.   

Motor Vehicle

A report of a motor vehicle accident at 2:25 p.m. Sunday on Walnut Street. Caller reported an accident and was in need of assistance with exchanging papers. Services rendered. 

A report of a motor vehicle leaving the scene of an accident at 4:08 p.m. Sunday at Ocean State Job Lot on Broadway. Caller reported she was struck from behind and the other vehicle left the scene. 

 A report of a suspicious motor vehicle at 11:03 a.m. Sunday on Lynn Fells Parkway at Main Street. Caller reported a male passed out in a vehicle in traffic. She further reported that several citizens approached the vehicle. He regained consciousness and drove off. Removed to hospital. 

Neighborhood Dispute. 

A report of a neighborhood dispute at 2:19 p.m. Sunday on Baker Street. Caller reported he arrived home and discovered a large amount of trash in his yard, dumped by his neighbor. Investigated. 

Officer Injury

A report of an officer injury at 12:58 p.m. Sunday at the Public Safety Building on Hamilton Street. Officer hurt her right middle finger while on call. Services rendered. 

Public Assist – Fire

A report of the fire department assisting the public at 1:12 p.m. Sunday on Henry Street. A caller reported ducklings in a storm drain. All five ducklings were rescued and returned to family. 

Suspicious Person

A report of a suspicious person at 5:01 p.m. Sunday at the Square One Mall on Broadway. Caller reported that four males walked into the mall, and one was carrying what he believed to be a large knife. Officer reported that the male was carrying a camera on a selfie stick, not a knife. 

Unwanted Party

A report of an unwanted party at 11:08 a.m. Sunday at Red Roof Inn on Broadway. Management wanted a female removed from a room as she was refusing to leave after check-out. Officer transported her to the bus stop. Peace restored.
