LYNN

Arrests

Josue Fernandez, 50, of Huss Court, was arrested at 12:31 a.m. Monday for a charge of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. 

Daren Gallahair, 40, was arrested at 1:51 p.m. Monday for a charge of a courtesy booking. 

John Fleury, 55, of Linton Road, was arrested at 1:54 p.m. Monday for a charge of a courtesy booking. 

Robby Pojoy Gonzalez, 22, of Chatham Street, was arrested at 2:37 p.m. Monday for charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and using an electronic device while operating. 

Buldwin Jean-Louis, 47, of Willow Street, was arrested at 3:44 p.m. Monday for two charges of receiving stolen property under $1,200. Buldwin was issued warrants for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, possession of a Class B drug, and two warrants for possession of a Class A drug. 

Christine Campbell, 53, of Crane Brook Way, was arrested at 6:36 p.m. Monday for charges of operating under the influence of liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and having an open container of alcohol. 

Cons/Scams

Reports of cons/scams at 9:58 a.m. on Baldwin Street and 1:43 p.m. on Prince Street. 

Disturbances

Reports of disturbances at 12:53 a.m. Monday on Neptune Boulevard, 1:15 a.m. on Neptune Boulevard, 9:53 a.m. on Essex Street, 2:07 p.m. on Central Avenue, 3:25 p.m. on Flint Street, 3:53 p.m. on Willow Street, and 11:53 p.m. on North Common Street.

Fights

Reports of fights at 12:42 a.m. Monday on Warren Street and 11:05 a.m. at Community Credit Union of Lynn on Andrew Street.

Hazardous Conditions

Reports of hazardous conditions at 2:37 p.m. Monday on Farrar Street, 4:11 p.m. at Stop & Shop on Washington Street, and 7:01 p.m. on Lewis Street. 

Larceny

Reports of larceny at 2:39 p.m. on Neptune Boulevard and 8:02 p.m. on Maple Street.  

Missing Person

A report of a missing person at 2:20 p.m. Monday on Lincoln Street.

A report of a motor vehicle theft at 10:41 a.m. Monday on Circuit Avenue. 

Noise

Reports of noise at 12:02 a.m. Monday on Neptune Boulevard, 12:04 a.m. on Essex Street, 1 a.m. on Atlantic Terrace, 1:21 a.m. on Clairmont Street, and 1:25 a.m. on Washington Street.

Suspicious Activities

Reports of suspicious activities at 5:08 p.m. Monday on Light Street and 8:38 p.m. at Fecteau-Leary Middle School on North Common Street. 

Threats

Reports of threats at 5:35 p.m. Monday at Taco Bell on Boston Street and 8:52 p.m. on Fair Oaks Avenue.  

Trespassing

Reports of trespassing at 12:38 a.m. Monday on Central Avenue, 9:30 a.m. on Central Avenue, 9:42 a.m. on Lynnway, 2:25 p.m. at Subway on State Street, and 8:26 p.m. on Essex Street. 

MARBLEHEAD

Arrests

At 7:40 p.m. Monday, officers responded to a disturbance on Pleasant Street and arrested Kathryn Cooper, 45, of Barnard Street, Marblehead. She was charged with trespassing.

Disturbances

A report of a disturbance was called in at 6:18 a.m. Monday at Peach Highlands. Officers responded but were unable to locate the issue. Another disturbance was reported at 7:40 p.m. on Pleasant Street. Police responded and made an arrest. A third report of a disturbance was called in at 9:58 p.m. on Farrell Court. Officers found no issue at the scene.

Motor Vehicle Crashes

A report of a car crash was called in at 12:18 p.m. Monday on Pleasant Street. Officers responded, and a report was taken.

Motor Vehicle Complaints

A report of a motor vehicle complaint was made at 6:46 p.m. on Monday near Harvard Street and Ocean Avenue. Officers investigated.

Motor Vehicle Stops

A traffic stop was conducted at 7:02 p.m. on Harbor Avenue and Valley Road. A verbal warning was issued.

Alarms Burglar

Burglar alarms were reported at 5:12 a.m. on Pleasant Street, at 8:08 a.m. on Washington Street, and at 8:25 p.m. on Tedesco Street. In all instances, services were rendered.

General Complaints

A general complaint was reported at 1:42 p.m. on Merritt Street. Officers responded but were unable to locate the issue.

Lost/Found Property

Lost or found property was reported at 11:29 a.m. at Atlantic Avenue and Chestnut Street, at 11:56 a.m. on Lighthouse Lane, and again at 5:26 p.m. on Prince Street. Services were rendered in all cases.

Suspicious Activity

A report of suspicious activity was called in at 11:11 p.m. near Pleasant Street and Essex Street. Officers investigated.

Aggressive Solicitors

A report of aggressive solicitors was called in at 7:17 p.m. Monday on Prospect Street. Officers investigated.

911 Hang-Ups

911 hang-ups were reported on Monday at 11:15 a.m. on Tidewinds Terrace, at 11:24 a.m. on Pleasant Street, and at 3:13 p.m. on Green Street. Services were rendered in all cases.

Assist Citizens

Citizens were assisted at 8:54 a.m. on Arrowhead Road, at 8:56 a.m. on Atlantic Avenue (report taken), at 11:25 a.m. on West Shore Drive (report taken), at 6:01 p.m. on Gerry Street, and at 9:30 p.m. on Intrepid Circle.

Town Bylaw Issues

Town bylaw issues were reported at 10:45 a.m. on Churchill Road and at 12:20 p.m. on Arthur Avenue. One report was resolved, and the other could not be located.

Utilities/DPW/Hydrants

Utility-related service calls were made at 9:22 a.m. on Tedesco Street and at 1:12 p.m. on Washington Street. A hydrant was reported back in service at 1:34 p.m. on Bubier Road.

Be On the Lookout (BOLO)

A BOLO request was issued by the Salem Police Department at 10:23 p.m. Services were rendered.

Assist Other Agencies

Assistance to another agency was provided at 9:17 p.m. on Creesy Street.

Property checks were conducted throughout Monday at the following times and locations: 12:19 a.m.  Ocean Avenue, 12:37 a.m. Ocean Avenue (two checks), 1:40 a.m.  Pleasant Street, 1:42 a.m.  Pleasant Street, 8:35 a.m.  Community Road, 8:38 a.m.  Atlantic Avenue, 9:31 a.m.  Community Road, 9:34 a.m.  Atlantic Avenue, 11:11 a.m.  Atlantic Avenue, 4:42 p.m. Community Road, 4:42 p.m. Atlantic Avenue, 6:32 p.m. Community Road, 6:32 p.m. Atlantic Avenue, 9:57 p.m. Lighthouse Lane. All property checks resulted in services rendered or buildings secured.

SAUGUS

Alarms

A report of a burglar alarm at 1:41 a.m. Monday at Buffalo Wild Wings on Main Street. Building appears to be secure; a report at 3:29 p.m. on Shore Road. Accidental/defective alarm; a report at 4:03 p.m. on Shore Drive. Accidental/defective alarm; a report at 6:32 p.m.  at Extra Space Storage on Central Street. Building appears to be secure.  

Assist Citizen

A report of citizen assistance at 6:04 p.m. Monday on Lawndale Avenue. Officer reported he was performing a follow up investigation. Report taken; a report at 8:28 p.m. on Broadway. Caller reported her vehicle was not where she had parked it. Investigated. 

Disturbance

A report of a disturbance at 7:52 p.m. Monday at Belmonte STEAM Academy on Dow Street. Peace restored. 

Larceny

A walk-in report of larceny at 1:43 p.m. Monday at Anna Parker Playground on Essex Street. A man walked into the station and reported that his duffle bag was stolen while he was playing pickleball. Report taken. 

Motor Vehicles

A report of a motor vehicle leaving the scene of an accident at 1:28 p.m. Monday at Macy’s on Broadway. Caller reported her vehicle was struck while inside the store. Report taken. 

A report of a motor vehicle stop at 12:05 p.m. Monday at Kelly’s Roast Beef on Broadway. Citation issued; a report at 9:39 p.m. at Evans Elementary on E Denver Street. Services rendered.  

Person in Street/Hazard

A report of a person in the street/hazard at 10:10 a.m. Monday on Broadway. Area search negative. 

Property Damage

A report of property damage at 3:30 p.m. Monday on Walnut Street. Caller reported that a rock had damaged her vehicle. Services rendered. 

Road Rage

A report of road rage at 12:36 p.m. Monday on Vine Street at Main Street. Caller reported that another driver threw loose change at his vehicle on Essex Street and he was following the vehicle onto Vine Street. Services rendered. 

Shoplifting

A report of shoplifting at 2:31 p.m. Monday at Dick’s Sporting Goods on Broadway. Loss prevention reported that two females had left the store with two pairs of Nike shoes. Report taken. 

Suspicious Activities

A report of suspicious activity at 12:48 p.m. Monday on Hamilton Street. Investigated, nothing found; a report at 9:12 p.m. at Ballard School – Early Childhood Center on Richard Street. Caller reported seeing two juveniles enter the school. Building appears to be secure.

Reports of area checks at 11:10 a.m. Tuesday on Atlantic Avenue, 11:54 a.m. on Upper Jackson Park, 7:38 p.m. on Doherty Circle, 11:36 p.m. on Atlantic Avenue.
