Marnie Moore selected as Lynn Rotary Club President

LYNN – On Tuesday June 17, local Attorney Marnie Moore was installed as Lynn Rotary Club president for the term ending June 30, 2026. Moore is married to Darrin Ball and has two daughters. She is a partner with the law firm of Bradley Moore Primason Cuffe & Weber, LLP, located in Lynn.

Moore has been a Rotarian since March 2022 and enjoys contributing her time to following the Rotary Club’s motto of Service Above Self. she can be seen at the Greater Lynn Senior Services distributing food to the elderly. She also donates some of her time distributing food at the Lynn Salvation Army, again providing food to those who have food insecurity, a growing issue in Lynn.

The installation ceremony took place at the Danversport Yacht Club, hosted by Gwen Jones of the Beverly Rotary Club. There were approximately 350 Rotarians and guests in attendance. All the local Rotary Clubs are part of Rotary District 7930, which consists of 44 clubs with approximately 1,600 members. The district includes northeast Massachusetts and Salem, New Hampshire.

After the swearing in, Moore said, “I’m looking forward to my presidency of the Lynn club. As a matter of fact, I have committed to two terms. The Club has a very strong relationship with the Lynn schools, and I want to become more involved with that relationship.” She continued, “Lynn has a very high percentage of residents who have serious food insecurity issues. I hope to expand the club’s involvement in helping with that issue.”

The Lynn Rotary Club was established in 1918 and currently meets on the last Thursday of the month at 5:30 p.m. at Old Tyme Italian Cuisine, 612 Boston St. Lynn. The Club also has satellite meetings for those who want to attend a meeting but can’t attend on Thursdays. The satellite meetings are held Tuesdays at 7:30 a.m. at Land of a Thousand Hills Coffee, 61 Munroe St. Lynn. For further information, email [email protected].
