Motor Vehicles
Motor vehicle enforcement was steady throughout town on Friday. At 6:23 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on Essex Street involving a gray Honda CR-V, and the driver was issued a warning. During the evening, at 8:31 p.m., officers responded to a disabled vehicle at a traffic light; AAA was already en route and took over assistance. At 8:38 p.m., a selective traffic enforcement patrol was carried out near 100 Walnut Street and Market Street, with no violations observed. At 8:54 p.m. on Friday, officers responded to a call from Thomas Road regarding door-to-door solicitors. Officers located the individuals and informed them that solicitation activities must cease for the night unless properly permitted by the town. They were advised of the necessary steps to obtain a valid solicitation permit in the future.
Property Checks
On Friday, routine property checks were performed at multiple locations including King Rail Drive, Oak Street, Salem Street, and Ross Drive. All properties were found secure during these checks, and no action was necessary.
Suspicious Activity
