MARBLEHEAD — What a weekend it was at Tedesco Country Club, where Michael Zmetrovich and Bobby Jackson captured senior and super senior club championships, respectively.

Zmetrovich finished the two-round championship with a final score of +7 after posting 72 in Round 1 and 75 in Round 2. He took a five-shot lead over Joe Furey and Wayne Pettee, and never looked back.

He’s now a five-time champion with wins in 2009, 2010, 2015, and 2023.

Scott Krypel, who posted a 71 (+1) with five birdies in Round 2, took second place.

As for the super senior championship, Jackson trailed Ralph James after Round 1, but played the back nine of Round 2 at 2-under net, posting a final score of +1.

Jackson – for his first club championship – took down Phil DiCarlo (+5) by two shots.

The women’s club championship is set for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday for the final match.
