LYNN – Ingalls Elementary School student Bradley Solis Esteban, 12, died in a car accident alongside his grandmother Silvia Lopez while visiting long-distance family in Guatemala.

According to the GoFundMe campaign created to help Bradley’s family with funeral expenses, “What was supposed to be a memorable and joyful trip turned into a devastating experience for the family where both Bradley and his grandmother, Silvia Lopez, lost their lives in a car accident as they voyaged on a long-awaited road trip together.”

The campaign continues, “In light of honoring Bradley’s memory, we ask that you please take some time to help support Bradley, his grandmother and the entire family in this saddening and heartbreaking situation by sharing this story and donating with what your heart desires.”

Visit tinyurl.com/For-Bradley to contribute to the fundraiser.

“We are deeply saddened to learn of the tragic death of Ingalls Elementary School student Bradley Solis Esteban. We extend our sincere sympathy to Bradley’s family, who are also mourning the death of his grandmother. Bradley was a beloved member of the Ingalls School community who will be sorely missed,” said Lynn Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Evonne S. Alvarez.

The GoFundMe asks the Lynn community to “join this family in thoughts and prayers as they await the body of their son Bradley to arrive back into the United States for a last goodbye.”
