MARBLEHEAD — Joanne Steadman and Lisa Parker claimed top honors at the 2025 Women’s Club Championship, with Steadman winning the 18-hole title and Parker taking the 9-hole crown at Tedesco Country Club. Both golfers delivered composed performances to secure their respective championships.
Steadman captured her first women’s title since 2018 with a comeback win over Kym Pappathanasi in the final. Down two through 10 holes, she rallied with strong putting and steady play, clinching the match on the 17th green to earn her 11th overall club championship (women’s: ’08, ’09, ’11–’13, ’16, ’18; women’s senior: ’20, ’21, ’23).
Steadman’s path to the title included an 8 & 6 win over Taj Tillah and a semifinal victory against Amy Leveroni, where she pulled away by winning four of five holes starting at hole No. 11.
Parker entered the final round of the 9-Hole Women’s Championship five shots off the lead but stayed focused and caught up early. Tied with Traci Howe on the 18th tee, Parker overcame a fairway bunker shot to hold on for the win—her second title, adding to her 2023 victory.
