Alarms
Police responded to three burglar alarms throughout the day. At 7:22 a.m., a call came from Ocean Avenue. Services were rendered. A second alarm at 11:23 a.m. on Humphrey Street was determined to be false. Officers also responded to a false alarm at 7:43 p.m. on Widger Road.
Motor Vehicle Complaints
Three moving motor vehicle complaints were reported. Officers were unable to locate the vehicles involved in complaints at 3:21 p.m. at Atlantic and Clifton avenues, and at 4:46 p.m. on Ocean Avenue. At 4:58 p.m., a vehicle was stopped at Harbor Avenue and Foster Street. A verbal warning was issued.
Motor Vehicle Stop
One traffic stop resulted in a citation at 8:57 p.m. on Tedesco Street.
Disturbance
A reported disturbance at 8:44 p.m. at Barnard Hawkes Court was deemed unfounded.
Assist Citizens
Four citizen assists were logged throughout the day. At 7:08 a.m., a report was taken on Hillside Avenue. A second report was taken at 8:48 a.m. on Vine Street. Another report was filed from Lincoln Park at 3:23 p.m. Officers rendered services at 3:42 p.m. on Arnold Terrace.
Complaints
General complaints were made at 8:37 p.m. near Broughton Road, 11:16 p.m. at Barnard Hawkes Court, and 11:29 p.m. on Ocean Avenue. Services were rendered in two instances; no action was required for the third.
Tree/Branch Down
Police responded to two reports of fallen trees or branches. The first was at 9:16 a.m. on Seaview Avenue. The second, which included fire department response, was at 7:44 p.m. on Vine Street.
Property Checks
Several property checks were conducted between 12:20 a.m. and 12:41 a.m. at Stramski Way, Atlantic Avenue, and two locations on Ocean Avenue. All buildings were secure or services were rendered.
