LYNNFIELD – The Select Board approved the opening of a new CAVA restaurant address in Lynnfield and adjourned the 2025 Fiscal Year with a few end of year transfers.
Town Administrator Rob Dolan then concluded the FY25 with the year end transfers in town services. The Lynnfield Fire Department has lost three people. Two are injured, but they are expected back.
“We feel the budget for this year will be strong,” Dolan said. “We’ll start the year fresh.”
The CAVA chain serves Mediterranean food across 29 states, including in 16 addresses in Massachusetts. Guests can customize their own Mediterranean grain bowl, salad or pita with fresh ingredients.
The company is opening a new restaurant on MarketStreet in Lynnfield, approved by the Town Select Board in a recent meeting.
“We’re super excited to be a part of Lynnfield,” said CAVA Construction Manager Kevin Brown. Select Board Chair Phil Crawford expressed CAVA would be “a nice addition to the mix” in town.
The new restaurant will serve from 10:45 a.m. to 10 p.m. on 335 Market St.
