LYNN

Arrests

Matthew Ahearn, 48, was arrested for charges of willful malicious wanton damages and straight warrant.

Jedidias Chum Escalante, 21, of Perley Street, was arrested for charges of assault and battery in the presence of a police officer, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and disorderly conduct.

Gerson Escalante, 28, of Perley Street, was arrested for charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, assault and battery in the presence of a police officer, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and disorderly conduct.

Jose Rodriguez, 28, was arrested for charges of unarmed robbery, straight warrant and drug possession.

Animal Bite

A report of an animal bite at 12:32 p.m. Tuesday on Green Street.

Assault

A report of an assault at 10:59 a.m. Tuesday on Johnson Street.

Con/Scam

A report of a con/scam at 3:47 p.m. Tuesday on Chestnut Street.

Disturbance

Reports of disturbances at 12:12 a.m. Tuesday on Chatham Street and Essex Street, 7:53 p.m. on Meadow Court, 8:10 a.m. on Silsbee Street, 3:44 p.m. at Crunch Fitness on State Street, and 7:11 p.m. on Lynnway.

Drugs

Reports of drugs at 12:44 p.m. Tuesday on Essex Street and Liberty Street and 4:40 p.m. on Washington Street.

Fight

Reports of fights at 12:34 p.m. Tuesday at Asian Garden on Market Street and 6:51 p.m. on Hanover Street.

Fire

Reports of fires at 1:37 p.m. Tuesday on Sheldon Street and 3:43 p.m. on Chestnut Street.

Larceny

Reports of larceny at 1:22 p.m. Tuesday on Great Woods Terrace and 7:30 p.m. on Western Avenue.

Missing Persons

Reports of missing persons at 4:17 p.m. Tuesday on Essex Street and 11:54 p.m. on Liberty Street.

Motor Vehicles

Reports of motor vehicle accidents at 5:12 a.m. Tuesday on Euclid Avenue, 10:58 a.m. on Eastern Avenue, 11:35 a.m. on Federal Street, 1:48 p.m. on Boston Street and Washington Street, 2:11 p.m. on Walnut Street, 3:29 p.m. on Arlington Street and Baker Street, 5:22 p.m. on Story Avenue, 5:59 p.m. on Beach Road and Lynn Shore Drive, and 6:18 p.m. and 6:37 p.m. on Western Avenue.

A report of a motor vehicle found at 12:14 a.m. Tuesday at Market Basket on Federal Street.

Reports of motor vehicle parking violations at 8:27 a.m. Tuesday on Lawton Avenue, 3:52 p.m. on Oxford Street, 5:08 p.m. on Essex Street, and 9:26 p.m. on Hamilton Avenue.

Reports of motor vehicle problems at 3:26 a.m. Tuesday on James Street, 7:13 a.m. on Stewart Street and 8:27 a.m. on Beacon Hill Avenue.

Reports of motor vehicle stops at 12:08 a.m. Tuesday on Western Avenue, 1:01 p.m. on Market Street, 2:48 p.m. on Bennett Street and 8 p.m. on Chatham Street.

Reports of motor vehicle thefts at 12:22 p.m. Tuesday on Summer Street and 11:52 p.m. on Beacon Hill Avenue.

Shoplifting

A report of shoplifting at 9:32 a.m. Tuesday on Western Avenue.

Trespass

A report of trespassing at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday on Farrar Street.

Vandalism

A report of vandalism at 12:35 p.m. Tuesday on Oxford Street.

 

 

MARBLEHEAD

Alarms

One burglar alarm was reported and found to be false. The incident occurred at 4:42 p.m. on Pleasant Street. Officers responded and found no cause for concern.

Complaints

Five general complaints were handled. At 11:24 a.m., officers rendered services at Brackett Place. At 12:43 p.m., services were also provided on Gerry Street. Another complaint was addressed at 2:37 p.m. on Farrell Court. At 7:03 p.m., officers responded to an incident on Humphrey Street, where one individual was taken into protective custody. A fifth complaint at 7:46 p.m. on Tedesco Street required no action.

Disturbance

A disturbance was reported at 11:43 p.m. near Lorraine Terrace and Village Street. Officers responded, but the source could not be located.

Found/Lost Property

Two cases involving found or lost property were logged. The first occurred at 7:31 a.m. on Ocean Avenue. Another item was reported lost at 8:30 a.m. on Humphrey Street.

General Information

Two general information incidents were logged. The first occurred at 1:00 p.m. on Pleasant Street and required no action. The second, at 5:30 p.m. on Humphrey Street, was investigated by responding officers.

Motor Vehicle Complaints

One motor vehicle complaint involving a moving violation was reported at 11:52 a.m. near Brookhouse Drive and Humphrey Street. The vehicle could not be located.

Property Checks

Routine property checks were conducted throughout the day at multiple locations, including Atlantic Avenue, Community Road, Ocean Avenue, Prospect Street, Longview Drive, Stramski Way, and Lighthouse Lane. In all cases, no issues were found.

Town Bylaw Enforcement

At 11:24 a.m., officers responded to a town bylaw issue on Arthur Avenue. Services were rendered.

Utility and Tree Work

Beginning at 6:50 a.m., officers assisted public works and utility crews at various sites. Mayer Tree work was conducted on Woodfin Terrace. RJ Devereaux crews operated in the areas of Euclid Avenue, Pleasant Street, and Prospect Street. National Grid performed work on Watson Street. Granese operations were supported on Mohawk Road, Bubier Road, and Atlantic Avenue. All work was completed without incident.

Unresolved Incidents

At 10:56 p.m., a report involving e-bikes was made near Lafayette Street and West Shore Drive. Officers were unable to locate the involved parties.

Violation

At 7:29 p.m., a violation was reported at Lincoln Park. Officers responded and a report was taken.

911 Hang-Up

Four 911 hang-up calls were received throughout the day. At 9:34 a.m., a call was logged from Prospect Court. Another occurred at 10:08 a.m. on Maple Street. Officers also investigated calls at 3:41 p.m. on Bessom Street and 10:18 p.m. on Hines Court.

Reports of area checks at 1:02 a.m. Tuesday on Essex Street, 1:06 a.m. on Cherry Street, 9:49 a.m. on Atlantic Avenue, 10:03 a.m. on Burrill Street, 10:13 a.m. on Forest Avenue, 12:28 p.m. on Paradise Road, 12:44 p.m. on Redington Street, 12:58 p.m. on Little Point Road, 6:11 p.m. on Atlantic Avenue, and 10:30 p.m. on Essex Street.

Larceny

Reports of larceny at 2:29 p.m. Tuesday on Paradise Road.

Motor Vehicles

Reports of motor vehicle stops at 1:20 a.m. Tuesday on Humphrey Street, 1:28 a.m. on Humphrey Street, 9:33 a.m. on Burrill Street, 5:01 p.m. on Elm Place and Essex Street, 5:08 p.m. on Humphrey Street and Morton Road, and 5:27 p.m. on Lawrence Road.
Noise

Reports of noise at 9:17 p.m. Tuesday on Whitman Road and 11:27 p.m. on Glen Road.

Suspicious Activity

Reports of suspicious activity at 11:29 p.m. Tuesday on New Ocean Street.

Traffic Enforcement Posts

Reports of traffic enforcement posts at 6:38 a.m. Tuesday on Humphrey Street.

Vandalism

Reports of vandalism at 4:45 p.m. Tuesday on Burpee Road.
