The Saugus River Watershed Association and the Saugus Iron Works are hosting a free community picnic on July 30 beginning at 6:00 p.m.
Guests are encouraged to bring their own picnic supper and a blanket to relax on the lawn while enjoying a lively evening of games, crafts, snacks, music, and environmental activities designed for all ages. Whether you’re looking to unwind after work or create some midweek memories with your kids, this event offers a perfect blend of nature, fun, and community spirit.
In addition to the picnic festivities, those looking to explore more of the outdoors can head over to the nearby Breakheart Reservation, where the Saugus River Trail and Blue and Yellow Blaze Loop provide scenic spots for additional picnicking. A dog park is also available for families with four-legged companions.
