Action continues with Lynn evening league

LYNN — Mark it down as another successful week with the Lynn Parks and Recreation Summer Evening Basketball League. 

In middle school action, Gannon Golf Course defeated Lynn Teachers Union, 28-21. Leading the way was Gannon’s Junior Osorio, who netted 11 points. 

Gannon continued its winning ways and defeated Solimine Funeral Home, 29-23. Terrence Johnson scored 11 points for Gannon, while Braydon Nicosia added 12 for Solimine. 

In high school games, Councilor Jay Walsh took down Lynn Housing Authority, 30-16. Logan Cushna had nine points in the win, while Kane Hagerty scored five on the other end.

K Security Systems defeated Councilor Jay Walsh, 21-14. Osorio racked up six points for Councilor Jay Walsh, while, despite the loss, Deron McCloud and Jayden Kelsey added nine apiece.
