Arrests

Charles Brashear, of Washington Street, was arrested for charges of uninsured motor vehicle/trailer, unlicensed/suspended operation of a motor vehicle, unregistered motor vehicle and number plate violation.

Ariel Tejeda, 34, of Lebel Road, was arrested for assault and battery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

Disturbance

Reports of disturbances at 1:05 a.m. and 1:55 a.m. Sunday on Cottage Street and 3:14 a.m. on Oxford Street and Willow Street.

Fight

Reports of fights at 1:22 a.m. and 1:24 a.m. Sunday on Union Street and 3:13 p.m. on Commercial Street and South Common Street.

Larceny

Reports of larceny at 10:12 a.m. Sunday at Shelter on Washington Street, 1:12 p.m. at Taco Bell on Boston Street and 5:18 p.m. on Park Street.

Missing Person

Reports of a missing person at 2:03 p.m. Sunday at Tech Field on Neptune Boulevard.

Reports of motor vehicle accidents at 12 a.m. Sunday on Chatham Street and Western Avenue, 12:34 a.m. on South Common Street, 11:21 a.m. on Lynn Shore Drive, 2:56 p.m. at Market Basket on Federal Street, 3:08 p.m. on Chestnut Street and Union Street, 3:48 p.m. on South Elm Street and Summer Street, 6:04 p.m. on Commercial Street and South Common Street, 6:12 p.m. on Chestnut Street and Essex Street, 6:35 p.m. on Brook Street and 8:37 p.m. on Hanover Street and North Common Street.

Reports of motor vehicle stops at 12:41 a.m. Sunday on Essex Street, 2:46 a.m. on Chestnut Street, 9:19 a.m. on Liberty Street and Washington Street, 11:48 a.m. on Ocean Street and 5:38 p.m. at Goldfish Pond on Lafayette Park.

A report of a motor vehicle theft at 2:03 a.m. Sunday on Herschel Street. 

A report of motor vehicle vandalism at 3 p.m. Sunday on Marine Boulevard.

Shoplifting

A report of shoplifting at 10:20 a.m. Sunday at Walgreens on Joyce Street.

Trespass

Reports of trespassing at 2:13 a.m. Sunday at Eastern Bank on Market Street and 10:50 a.m. on Broad Street.

 

SAUGUS

Animal Complaint

A report of an animal complaint at 11:40 a.m. Sunday at Kohl’s on Broadway. Caller reported a dog was left unattended inside a vehicle. Services rendered; a report at 3:48 p.m. on Juliette Road. Caller reported that there was a neighborhood cat in a tree in her yard. Services rendered; a report at 8:18 p.m. at Applebee’s on Broadway. Employee reported that a dog was left in a locked vehicle. Services rendered. 

Disturbance

A report of a disturbance at 8:31 p.m. Sunday on Newhall Avenue. Caller reported an altercation taking place in a trailer. Investigated.  

Found Property

A report of found property at 7 p.m. Sunday on Hobson Street. Caller reported finding an ID in the parking lot at Stop & Shop. Services rendered. 

Harassment

A report of harassment at 8:44 p.m. Sunday on Juliette Road. Caller reported an ongoing issue with a neighbor being aggressive. Peace restored. 

Motor Vehicle

A report of a motor vehicle accident at 5:40 p.m. Sunday at Starbucks on Broadway. Caller reported he was involved in a hit-and-run. Report taken. 

Shoplifting 

A report of shoplifting at 7:14 p.m. Sunday at Target on Lynn Fells Parkway. Loss prevention detained a female who was unable to provide an ID. Report taken.

Suspicious Person

A report of a suspicious person at 6:27 p.m. Sunday on Holland Street. Caller reported two males soliciting in the area. Area search negative. 

Unwanted Party

A report of an unwanted party at 11:11 a.m. Sunday at Army Barracks Inc. on Broadway. Caller reported a male customer being aggressive towards the manager and refusing to leave when asked. The store manager was advised to contact the police about any future incidents.

Noise

Reports of noise at 12:34 a.m. Sunday on Lincoln Circle and Phillips Avenue, 1:16 a.m. on Lincoln Circle, 2:12 a.m. on Farragut Road and 8:16 p.m. on Ocean View Road.

Suspicious Activity

Reports of suspicious activity at 11:10 p.m. Sunday on Little Point Road.

Traffic Enforcement Post
