LYNN– Mayor Jared C. Nicholson’s office will host the fourth annual Lynnside Out, a festival geared to connecting residents with City departments and provide information on upcoming initiatives and City services.
The event will take place at Frederick Douglass Memorial Park in Central Square on Saturday, Sept. 6 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be free food, live music and performances, and family- friendly activities including music, face painting, spray-on tattoos, arts and crafts, and a bounce
house.
City Departments and other agencies that will be represented include: Mayor’s office, EDIC/Lynn, City Clerk, Community Development, Inspectional Services, Parking, Public Health, Planning, City Council, DPW, Fire, Police, Lynn Public Schools, LHAND, Lynn Community Health
Center, and Grand Army of the Republic.
“We’re excited to bring back Lynnside Out,” Nicholson said. “This event gives us the opportunity to bring City Hall to residents to let them know it is a place that is accessible for everyone, and the departments and our office are always available for any assistance they require. Lynnside Out helps residents be engaged with ongoing projects that can benefit from their input.”
