Community Credit Union is celebrating 70 years of serving its communities.
The company is honoring the milestone by throwing parties at its Lynn, Peabody, and Somerville locations for members and future members. The celebration will come with refreshments, giveaways, and a chance to meet the team at your local branch. At the Lynn location, there will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by city officials.
Community Credit Union is offering a special promotion to new members who attend the celebrations, and all throughout September 2025.
New members who open a checking and savings account will receive $70 in their newly opened account.
“It’s our way of saying welcome and thank you!” Community Credit Union President and CEO Dr. Nick Sarantopoulos wrote in a statement.

“We’re thankful of the community, community leaders, and our members for always being so welcoming to us and supporting us. We’ve always felt right at home being part of Lynn. We try to be involved with the city and give back, as it takes a village to support a community,” Community Credit Union Business Development Manager Victor Ferreira said.
