PEABODY – Lydia and Larry McIntire celebrated their 90th birthdays as well as their 70th wedding anniversary Saturday, Sept. 6 at the Club Luis De Camoes in Peabody with 40 family members and friends from as far away as Arizona and England. The two were married 70 years ago at St. Thomas Church in Peabody.
Lydia graduated from Peabody Veterans Memorial High School in ‘52, and Larry did the same in ‘53. They have five children: Leanne McIntire, Scott McIntire, Mark McIntire, Lori Willis, and Rick McIntire. They also have eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
