Burglar Alarm

Reports of burglar alarms at 7:33 a.m. and 7:52 p.m. Monday at Eastern Bank at Shaw’s on Andover Street and 2:43 p.m. on Sherwood Avenue.

Carbon Monoxide Alarm

A report of a carbon monoxide alarm at 1:06 p.m. Monday on Fitz Road.

Disturbance

A report of a disturbance at 12:16 a.m. Monday at Preserve North Apartments on Crowninshield Street.

Fire Alarm

Reports of disabled motor vehicles at 10:03 a.m. Monday at Northshore Mall on Andover Street and 2:37 p.m. on Lowell Street and Baldwin Street.

Reports of motor vehicle stops at 12:52 a.m. Monday on County Street, 1:47 p.m. on Jubilee Drive, 6:58 p.m. at Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home on Lynn Street and 10:03 p.m. at Walgreens on Main Street.

Suspicious Activity

Reports of suspicious activity at 4:36 p.m. Monday on Demoree Terrace and 7:05 p.m. at Spring Pond on Lynn Street.

Vandalism

A report of vandalism at 12:44 p.m. Monday on Paleologos Street.

Arrest

Lionel Richie Martinez, a 17-and-over male, of Cottage Street, was arrested for two charges of a straight warrant and two charges of a default warrant. 

Alarms

A report of a burglar alarm at 12:15 a.m. Monday on Davis Street. Caller believed someone had made entry into her home. Accidental/defective alarm; a report at 9:53 a.m. at Saugus Iton Works Carpenters Shed on Central Street. Accidental/defective alarm; a report at 8:06 p.m. at Cedar Glen Gold Course on Water Street. Accidental/defective alarm.  

Animal Complaint

A report of an animal complaint at 4:40 p.m. Monday at Jimmy’s Steer House on Broadway. Services rendered. 

Assist Citizen

A report of citizen assistance at 7:19 p.m. Monday at Planet Fitness on Broadway. Caller reported a 14-year-old male who couldn’t get his electric scooter unlocked to get back home. Public assist.

Disturbance

A report of a disturbance at 2:07 a.m. Monday at Lowe’s on Broadway. Lowe’s Corporate reported observing a gathering of 15 cars in the parking lot. Young kids were hanging out of windows and doing donuts. Dispersed gathering; a report at 12:42 p.m. Monday on Broadway. Caller reported she was trying to get some of her belongings from her boyfriend’s apartment, and he was refusing. She had taken his car keys, so he couldn’t leave the parking lot. Services rendered; a report at 3:28 on Mersea Street. Caller reported a female was physically assaulting a young male outside her home. Investigated.  

DPW Complaint

A report of a DPW complaint at 6:37 a.m. Monday on Route 1 Northbound. Caller reported that a ladder fell out of a vehicle and was obstructing traffic. State DPW notified. 

Hazardous Road Conditions

A report of hazardous road conditions at 6:34 p.m. Monday on Essex Street at the Melrose line. Caller reported that a construction sign had fallen in the roadway. Services rendered. 

Lost Property

A walk-in report of lost property at 5:26 p.m. Monday at the Public Safety Building on Hamilton Street. Report taken. 

Motor Vehicles

A report of a motor vehicle accident at 4:21 p.m. Monday on Pearce Memorial Drive at Main Street. Caller reported a car had hit a child on a bike. Removed to hospital. 

A report of a motor vehicle stop at 3:12 a.m. Monday at Dunkin’ on Broadway. Verbal warning; a report at 7:08 p.m. on Essex Street. Verbal warning. 

A walk-in report of a suspicious motor vehicle at 7:39 p.m. at the Public Safety Building on Hamilton Street. Report taken. 

Shoplifting

A report of shoplifting at 2:06 p.m. Monday at Savers on Broadway. An employee reported an active shoplifting. Report taken. 

Suspicious Activity

A report of suspicious activity at 2:57 a.m. Monday at Dick’s Sporting Goods on Broadway. Caller reported a group of people shooting fireworks at them. Dispersed gathering. 

Suspicious Person

A report of a suspicious person at 7:35 p.m. Monday at Dave’s Hot Chicken on Broadway. Caller reported an erratic operator who pulled into Dave’s and began banging on another car that drove behind him and left. Arrest of a 17-and-over male.
