Lynn Classical’s volleyball team (6-2) remained undefeated in the Greater Boston League (4-0) with a home sweep of Lynn English Wednesday. Set scores were 25-7, 25-15, and 25-14.
Leading the Lady Rams were Brooke Braswell (10 kills, 12 digs, 4 aces, 3 blocks, assist), Sejla Iriskic (9 digs, kill, ace), and Stacia Wonoski (10 assists, kill, dig).
“It’s always a big game when English comes in,” said Classical coach Chris LeBlanc. “The girls started the game really strong in the first set tonight. Brooke and Emma Chevalier came out and got us going from the service line and before English could respond, it was 20-5 in the first. From that point, the kids did what they needed to do to come out with a win. A lot of credit goes to those English players, who never quit and kept battling all night.”
