SAUGUS — The time to pull nomination papers has officially closed in town, and while there is still time to withdraw, here are the current candidates for this year’s local election.

The Board of Selectmen has four incumbents, including Michael Serino, Anthony Cogliano, current Vice Chair Jeffrey Cicolini, and current Chair Debra Panetta. Selectman Corinne Riley will not be running for re-election.

The five challengers are Sandro Pansini Souza, Frank Federico, Stacey Herman-Dorant, Jennifer D’Eon, and Vincent Serino.

For the School Committee, there are three running for re-election. Those three incumbents are Stephani Mastrocola, current Vice Chair Thomas Whittredge, and Ryan Fisher. The current chair, Vincent Serino, has chosen to vie for a Board of Selectmen spot instead.

There are six challengers in this year’s School Committee race. They are Joseph “Dennis” Gould, Shannon McCarthy, Roberto Bruzzese, Brian Doherty, Andrew Finn, and Arthur Grabowski.

The candidates for Housing Authority are Kristi Talagan, John Chipouras, and Darlene L’Heureux.

Finally, there is a large field of incumbents and challengers for Town Meeting. There are 45 candidates running for re-election and 22 challengers.

Precinct 1 incumbents include Susan C. Dunn, John O’Brien, Stacey Herman-Dorant, Mark Bell, and Assunta “Sue” Palomba. The challengers are Ashley Nichols, Jillian Lauziere, and Thomas Traverse.

Precinct 2 incumbents are Matthew Parlante, Jeanette Meredith, Robert Camuso, and Peter Rossetti Jr. The lone challenger in Precinct 2 is Joseph Malone. Due to there being only five people running, all five will secure a spot this election.

Precinct 3 incumbents are Leonard Ferrari Jr., Daniel Schena, Mark Sacco, Richard Thompson, and Arthur Connors Jr. The two challengers are Amanda Ostrow Mason and Marissa Demonte.

Precinct 4’s five incumbents are Robert Long, Maureen Whitcomb, Stephen Doherty, Glen Davis, and Stephanie Shalkoski. The challengers are Robert Northrup and Joseph DiFilippo.

Precinct 5 has five incumbents in Pamela Goodwin, Mark Panetta, Jaclyn Hickman, Ronald Wallace, and Brenton Spencer. The three challengers are Joshua Dellhim, Karli McConaghy Brazis, and Lori Fauci.

The four incumbents for Precinct six are Karen Rakinic, Jean Bartolo, Allen Panico, and Kevin Currie. The three challengers are Alicia Bonito, Elizabeth Marchese, and Carla Moschella.

Precinct 9’s four incumbents are Katrina Berube, Judith Worthley, John Cottam, and Daniel Kelly. The two challengers are Jaime Lincoln and Nicole Parziale.

The five incumbents for Precinct 10 are Martin Costello, Peter Delios, Carla Scuzzarella, Peter Manoogian Sr., and Darren Ring. The two challengers are James Tozza and Jenna Nuzzo.
