Arrests

Caitlyn Camp, 33, of Western Avenue, was arrested at 10:58 a.m. Sunday for charges of destruction of property and threatening to commit a crime.

Ezequiel Velez, of Mount Washington Street, was arrested at 4:57 a.m. Sunday for charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

Breaking and Entering

A report of breaking and entering at 8:36 a.m. on Chase Lane.

PEABODY

Arrests

John Wesley, 26, of Elliot Street, was arrested at 3:11 a.m. Sunday for charges of operating under the influence of liquor and possession of an open container of alcohol in the motor vehicle.

James M. Hagen, 54, of Bridge Street, was arrested at 2:38 p.m. Sunday for a charge of another department’s warrant.

Reports of burglar alarms at 2:31 a.m. Sunday at Oliveira’s on Walnut Street, 3:06 a.m. at Vans on Andover Street, 1:54 p.m. at North Shore Bank on Andover Street, 3:45 p.m. at Mini of Peabody on Andover Street, and 3:56 p.m. on Caruso Court.

A report of a carbon monoxide alarm at 12:12 p.m. Sunday on Evergreen Way.

A report of a motor vehicle parking complaint at 8:17 p.m. Sunday on Lynn Street.

A report of motor vehicle parking enforcement at 3:27 p.m. Sunday on Crowninshield Street.

Reports of motor vehicle stops at 12:46 a.m. Sunday at City Hall on Lowell Street, 1:23 a.m. at Big Y Plaza on Lowell Street, 11:52 a.m. on Littles Lane, and 8:24 p.m. on Lynnfield Street.

Building appears to be secure; a report at 4:18 p.m. at Sportsworld on Broadway. Accidental/defective alarm; a report at 6:26 p.m. at Sportsworld on Broadway. Accidental/defective alarm; a report at 7:57 p.m. at Cedar Glen Gold Course on Water Street. Accidental/defective alarm.  

DPW Complaint

A report of a DPW complaint at 3:43 p.m. Sunday on Main Street. Caller reported there were two 5-gallon buckets that were in the middle of the roadway blocking traffic. Services rendered. 

Fight 

A report of a fight in progress at 2:34 a.m. Sunday on Alfred Road. Caller reported an ongoing fight in the middle of the street. Peace restored.

Lost Property

A report of lost property at 1:14 p.m. Sunday on Main Street. Caller reported his vehicle was broken into at Stop & Shop, and his iPhone was taken. Report taken.  

Motor Vehicles

A report of a motor vehicle accident at 9:46 a.m. Sunday on Pearson Street and Central Street. A man went into the station to report his son was struck by a vehicle on Saturday between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. Services rendered; a report at 11:56 a.m. at Burger King on Broadway. Caller reported a three-car accident in the fast lane. Referred to another agency.  

A report of a suspicious motor vehicle at 1:32 a.m. Sunday at Santoro’s on Essex Street. Investigated. 

A report of a motor vehicle leaving the scene of an accident at 1:33 a.m. Sunday on Forest Street. Caller reported a BMW struck their vehicle and fled the scene. Investigated. 

Suspicious Activity 

A report of suspicious activity at 5:47 p.m. Sunday at Oaklandvale Elementary School on Main Street. Caller reported there were kids on the roof of the old school. Investigated, nothing found. 

Unwanted Party

A report of an unwanted party at 2:47 a.m. Sunday at the Holiday Inn on Broadway. An employee requested assistance removing a guest who was causing a disturbance. Dispersed gathering.
