NAHANT — Da’Sean Norbert, a 25-year-old resident, was charged for his role in a shooting that occurred at an ice cream stand in Chelmsford back in 2024.
Norbert, who was arrested by Nahant Police on Sept. 25, 2024, was charged with discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a building, willful and malicious destruction of property over $1,200, and disturbing the peace.
During the early morning hours of May 3, 2024, Chelmsford Police responded to reports of loud noise at Sully’s Ice Cream Stand on Graniteville Road. Police then recovered eight shell casings from a firearm and reported damage to an ATM machine outside.
Police later released surveillance footage showing Norbert fleeing the scene in a gray Chevrolet Malibu. The State Police Crime Laboratory connected the firearm to Norbert after analyzing the ballistic evidence found at the scene.
Norbert’s next court date is slated for Nov. 7.
