LYNNFIELD — Main Street Home, a Lynnfield interior design firm established in 2013, opened its new location at 447 Main St. on Wednesday with a ribbon cutting ceremony.
Main Street Home was founded in 2013 by two friends and neighbors, Emily Field and Nancy Rich. For years, they worked out of their next-door homes on Main Street, but when they partnered with Laura Healey, they decided it was time to officially open a studio.
“This past year, we took Laura on as a new partner, and when we brought her on, we decided to kind of rebrand the business and really try to take it to the next level,” Field said.
They decided that the perfect place for that studio would be a detached building standing in the space between Field’s and Rich’s home. After a redesign to show off their skills, they unveiled the studio, called the Carriage House, on Wednesday.
Healey said she has known Field for a while. She previously had her own company, Hale House Interiors, until Field told her they were looking to expand the team.
“I started up with these guys, and it’s been great,” Healey said.
The new Carriage House studio will act as an office and an example of their work.
