Kaylee Barrett was Lynnfield’s do-it-all player Saturday. The girls soccer team (8-2) defeated Cape Ann League foe Triton, 7-0, on enemy turf behind Barrett’s hat-trick and assist.
Also contributing for the Pioneers were Ava Damiani (2 goals, 2 assists), Ella Pascucci (goal), Hannah Ozanian (goal, assist), Giada Antidormi (3 assists), and Bella Sykes (2 assists).
“Giada and Bella were huge for us in the middle of the field today,” said Lynnfield coach Mark Vermont. “Our defense was also very strong.”
The Pioneers – winners of five consecutive games – travel to face Manchester-Essex (4-5-1) Tuesday at 4 p.m.

Continuing her historical week, St. Mary’s Sophie Skabeikis – the program’s all-time goals leader – didn’t slow down Saturday. She netted four more goals to guide the visiting Spartans to a 6-3-2 record. Cam Dunn also found the back of the net.

Saturday morning came with a back-and-forth, highly-intense game at Manning Field. KIPP held a one-goal lead late, but the visitors tucked a PK to equalize. Juan Ospina ripped a hat-trick for the Panthers, who also received strong performances from Jossue Giron (goal) and freshman Henry Chilel (2 assists).

Northeastern Conference foes met in a “hard-fought game,” according to Swampscott coach Lauren Wilkinson. Big Blue goals were scored by Sofia Robledo Puch and Megan Baron – both assisted by Shea Conley. Swampscott netminder Lilah Caplan stood strong with three key saves in a low-scoring affair.
