The Lynn Tech volleyball team (11-2) swept past Northeast Metro in straight sets 25-22, 25-7, 25-17. Lynn Tech was led by Zahara Belizaire who finished with 16 assists, 5 kills, 3 digs and 2 aces, Katie Tartarini (5 kills, 5 aces), and Lia Morales (6 digs, 4 aces, 3 kills).
Also contributing for Lynn Tech was Niya Bingham (5 kills, block), Mahlyna Williams (6 digs, 2 aces), and Kayla Rivera (4 aces, 2 digs)

The Crusaders picked up a narrow road win in a back and forth battle against Swampscott 26-28, 25-20, 21-25, 25-18, 17-15.
Emme Lubas led Bishop Fenwick with 32 assists, while Kylie Murphy (4 blocks, 4 aces, 7 kills), Charlotte Spooner (10 kills, 5 digs, 10 aces), and Brittney Figulski (10 digs, 5 aces) came up big for the Crusaders.

Despite a five set loss for the Spartans (7-7), two St. Mary’s players set school records. Gabriella Lorenzini set a record with 19 kills while Valeria Morillo set the assists record with 44.
Sky Watson also performed well finishing the game with 12 kills, 29 digs, three aces, and 16 service points.

The Rams built a comfortable lead early, scoring two goals in the first half. They added three more in the second, including a penalty converted by Edison Chacon 15 minutes into the half.

It was a balanced scoring attack for the Pioneers as Kaylee Barrett, Giada Antidormi, Ava Ragusa, Hannah Doherty, and Ella Pascucci all scored a goal.
In the center of the action was Ava Damiani who registered three assists. Victoria Minor was in net and produced five saves.
“It was a good battle. We worked hard for that victory,” Lynnfield head coach Mark Vermont said. “The girls did a nice job.”

The Eagles soared to the finish line to claim the win against Catholic Memorial at Bradley Palmer State Park.
Jack McIntosh placed first in the 5k course with a time of 16:19. The Eagles also placed third through eighth. Leo Seltenrich (16:55), Mateo DeOrio (17:02), Liam Mahoney (17:12), Liam Callahan (17:15), Hunter Opal (17:27), Henry McDonnell (17:29) were the top finishers for St. John’s Prep.
St. Mary’s
Both the St. Mary’s boys and girls cross country team lost to Bishop Feehan on Tuesday afternoon.
The boys dropped a 39-22 race against Bishop Feehan, despite solid effort from Cristian Rodriguez, Kevin Cahill, and Xavier Paula.
On the girls’ side, they lost 43-20 despite Kelsey Kwiatek finishing in first place.
Bishop Fenwick
Adelaide Sweatman set the pace for Bishop Fenwick girls cross country team as the Crusaders swept a dual meet against Archbishop Williams and Bishop Stang at the Bishop’s home course.
Sweatman won the race with a time of 19:46 to lead Fenwick to victories of 19-39 over Archbishop Williams and 14-44 over Bishop Stang, improving the team’s record to 4-1.
Marianna Kay (20:25) and Olivia Rowe (21:46) finished third and fourth, while Julia Davis and Caroline Blatchford crossed together for sixth at 22:51. Mireille Climenson (23:41) and Isabella Santoro (23:51) also placed inside the top 15.
On the boys side, Sam Appleyard led Bishop Fenwick in a split performance, falling to Archbishop Williams (36-21) but defeating Bishop Stang (24-33).
With a time of 18:17, Appleyard placed fourth, Deven Dion (18:41) finished sixth, John Reilly (20:04) was 10th, Will Rand (20:18) 11th, and Michael Mazzarella (20:49) placed 15th.
Injuries to Doron Appleyard and Chris Kay left Fenwick undermanned, dropping the team’s record to 3-2.
Both the boys and girls teams will travel to the Cape Cod Fairgrounds in Falmouth on Sunday to compete in the MSTCA Twilight Meet.
