Opposing field hockey teams will have to wait until 2026 to defeat St. Mary’s in the regular season. The Spartans – helmed by coach Victoria Ault – finished their regular season undefeated (17-0-1) after Wednesday’s 7-0 victory against Swampscott.
“It’s a tremendous accomplishment and something that is very rare,” said Athletic Director Jeff Newhall. “The players and coaches deserve a lot of credit.”
The team cruised at Manning Field behind a hat-trick performance from Camdyn Driscoll. Alyssa Norden, Tenley Driscoll, Ava Korisianos, and Karina Martinez also scored, while ever-so-reliable Tabby Lopes recorded another shutout.
It’s the first unbeaten regular season in program history. St. Mary’s only draw came against Andover (0-0 final) in September.
