LYNN

Arrests

Dennis Guzman-Deleon, 29, of Valley Avenue, was arrested at 12:02 a.m. Wednesday for charges of operating under the influence of liquor and resisting arrest. 

Nancy Urena, 57, of Essex Street, was arrested at 12:45 a.m. Wednesday for charges of a default warrant and possessing a Class B drug. Urena was issued a warrant for possessing a Class A drug.

Japhal Perez, 36, of Willow Street, was arrested at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday for three straight warrants. Perez was issued warrants for breaking and entering in the night for a felony (two counts), larceny under $1,200, disorderly conduct, assault and battery on a police officer, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and threat to commit a crime. 

Assault

A report of assault at 3:02 a.m. Wednesday on Boston Street. 

Con/Scam

A report of a con/scam at 1:26 a.m. Wednesday on Washington Street. 

Disturbances

Reports of disturbances at 8:59 a.m. Wednesday on Central Avenue, 2:14 p.m. on Boston Street, 5:46 p.m. on Lynnway, 8:28 p.m. on Essex Street, and 8:29 p.m. on Munroe Street. 

Larceny

Reports of larcenies at 11:18 a.m. Wednesday on Essex Street, 2:10 p.m. on Johnson Street, and 7:54 p.m. on Warren Street.

Missing Person

A report of a missing person at 8:43 p.m. Wednesday on Johnson Street.

Suspicious Activity

A report of annoying phone calls at 12:56 p.m. Wednesday on Brown Street. Services rendered.

Reports of assisting citizens at 8:38 a.m. Wednesday on Intrepid Circle, 10:58 a.m. on Lafayette Street, 11:02 a.m. on Gregory Street, 11:49 a.m. on Taft Street, 1:26 p.m. on Westminster Road, and 5:09 p.m. on Sagamore Road.

SAUGUS

Arrest

Anthony Leon Tate, a 17-and-over male, of Walker Street (Medford), was arrested at 10:14 a.m. Wednesday for charges of shoplifting by concealing merchandise and three warrants. 

Assist Citizen

A report of assisting a citizen at 12:24 a.m. Wednesday at the Public Safety Building on Hamilton Street. A man made over 23 calls between 8:40 p.m. and 12:30 p.m. but began calling at around 4:45 p.m. He continued to call without providing any information on his whereabouts. Services rendered.

Fraud

A report of credit card fraud at 4:06 p.m. Wednesday on Hesper Street. A woman went into the station and reported that her Venmo Card was used without her knowledge. Report taken. 

Hazardous Road Conditions

A report of hazardous road conditions at 1:23 p.m. Wednesday at Broadway Places LLC on Broadway. Caller reported a chair and a dresser in the roadway. Referred to other agency. 

Harassment

A report of harassment at 5:41 p.m. Wednesday on Broadway. Caller reported that her neighbor was harassing her and accusing her of vandalizing her vehicle. Invesitgated.

Motor Vehicles

A report of a motor vehicle accident at 8:41 a.m. Wednesday on Lincoln Avenue at Chestnut Street. Caller reported an accident with no injuries. Report taken; a report at 11:40 a.m. on Walnut Street. Caller reported a minor accident with no injuries. Servcies rendered; a report at 1:29 p.m. on Broadway. Caller reported she struck a chair that was in the roadway, and it caused damage to her vehicle. Services rendered; a report at 9:48 p.m. on Jackson Street. Caller reported that a vehicle it some parked cars. Removed to hospital. 

A report of a motor vehicle leaving the scene of an accident at 3:29 p.m. Wednesday on Linwood Street. Caller reported he had just arrived home and found his vehicle struck. Report taken; a report at 3:54 p.m. at PetSmart on Broadway. Caller reported her vehicle was struck, and the suspect left the scene. Report taken.   

Shoplifting

A report of shoplifting at 10:14 a.m. Wednesday at Macy’s on Broadway. Macy’s loss prevention reported a shoplifting of about $500 of five boxes of fragrances. Arrest of a 17-and-over male; a report at 7:58 p.m. at Macy’s on Broadway. Loss prevention reported two male shoplifters left the store with merchandise. Investigated, nothing found.
