LYNNFIELD — The Lynnfield Fire Department held an official ribbon-cutting to celebrate the opening of its new headquarters building on Friday. In addition to the town’s Select Board and Fire Chief Glenn Davis, state Rep. Bradley H. Jones, Jr., and state Sen. Crighton were also in attendance.
Special thanks were given to everyone involved in the project, including the architects and designers, the contractor, and the town staff, who were instrumental in keeping the project on time and on budget.
Town Administrator Rob Dolan also emphatically thanked the citizens of Lynnfield, who voted to support the project, which will serve not only the town itself but also the surrounding communities via mutual aid.
