LYNN — A man suffered a severe hand injury when an unknown device exploded at Chatham Street on Sunday morning.
Lynn Police, Lynn Fire, and an ambulance were dispatched to the residence at 39 Chatham St. at 6:50 a.m. A Lynn Fire arson investigator was also present on the scene. The man was transported to Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston via Atlantic Ambulance Services.
The man’s condition is not currently known. This is an ongoing investigation.
