LYNN — Gallery Night at Inc.ubate Coworking is back and ready to exhibit some art work of local artists. On Oct. 30 from 6-9 p.m. on the second floor of 614 Washington St. in Lynn.
The works of artists Micheal Aghahowa, Jah’nyah Spencer, Elisha Torres, and Gabriela Moreno will be on display as well as the Lynn Hip Hop Wall of Fame mural, which was recently unveiled at the Lynn Film Festival and created with collaboration from Aghahowa and Spencer. This event is free to the public and will include complimentary food as well.
“I haven’t done something quite like this,” Torres said. “It’s less artists, and I get to put my work up without any fees and sell my work without any commission being taken so that’s new to me.”
In addition to the artwork, visitors can also browse offerings from various vendors at the gallery. Vendors include: Jamie Kramer, former WFNX DJ and photographer, who recently held her own gallery show Underground Icons at the Lynn Gala, featuring her photographs of musicians and groups such as Blondie, The Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana, Lenny Kravitz, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers; Matt Sierra, founder of YWRLD, a sustainable streetwear brand that plants a tree for every shirt sold; and MVHCO, a fashion designer who creates one-of-a-kind, upcycled clothing.
“Gallery Night at Inc.ubate Coworking is where creativity meets collaboration,” Michael Lucerto, founder of Inc.ubate Coworking, said. “A space for local artists, entrepreneurs, and community members to connect, inspire, and grow together.”
