Christmas was always my favorite holiday because I loved driving around with my parents every holiday season and taking in the beautifully decorated homes. Well, now that’s changed. I’ve lived in Salem with my wife for the last nine years, and we have certainly embraced the Halloween spirit. Between the humor and horror, people have really upped the decoration game for Halloween over the past few years, and I find myself slowing down the car and taking in the spooky splendor every time I see a nice display.

To pay tribute to my new favorite holiday decoration season, I grabbed my cameras, hopped in the car, and captured some displays (with the help of Sophia Harris and Mary Wade) that put a smile on my face across Lynn, Lynnfield, Marblehead, Nahant, Peabody, Saugus, and Swampscott.
