I am writing to enthusiastically endorse Brenda Ortiz McGrath for School Committee. Among the challengers, Brenda stands out for her deep and varied experience working directly in schools over the course of 20 years — as a social worker, principal, and district administrator. This breadth of experience gives her a unique understanding of the challenges students, families, and educators face every day.
Brenda is motivated, hardworking, and deeply passionate about improving public education for all students. Furthermore, her bilingual and bicultural background is a tremendous asset in our diverse city, helping ensure that every family’s voice is heard and valued.
Brenda Ortiz McGrath will bring experience, dedication, and a deep commitment to equity to the School Committee. She has my full support.
