LYNN

Arrests

Jonathan Brusch, 64, of Ocean Avenue, was arrested at 10:02 p.m. Wednesday for charges of operating under the influence, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, marked lanes violation, and urinating in public. 

Jan Mejia, 22, of Mall Street, was arrested at 3:48 a.m. Wednesday for charges of possession of Class B and Class E drugs with intention to distribute and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

Osbeli Ovalle Castro, 21, of Franklin Street, was arrested at 8:45 p.m. Wednesday for charges of drinking in public, possessing alcohol from an open container, and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

Alarms 

Reports of fire alarms at 5:37 a.m. Wednesday on Central Avenue, 6:01 a.m. on Cottage Street, 3:35 p.m. on Washington Street, 4:30 p.m. On Union Street, 6:04 p.m. on Woodman Street, and 9:04 p.m. on Newhall Street.

Assault 

A report of assault at 12:09 p.m. Wednesday on Margin Street. 

A report of assault and battery at 9:56 a.m. Wednesday on Williams Avenue. 

Disturbances 

Reports of disturbances at 9:25 a.m. Wednesday on Ocean Street and 1:56 pm. On Commercial Street. 

Hazardous Conditions

Reports of hazardous conditions at 12:33 p.m. Wednesday on Taylor Road, 5:31 p.m. on Farrar Street, and 11:31 p.m. on South Common Street. 

Larceny

A report of larceny at 2:49 p.m. Wednesday on Baltimore Street. 

Missing Persons

Reports of missing persons at 5:55 p.m. Wednesday on Nelson Street and 5:49 p.m. on Green Street. 

Motor Vehicles

Reports of motor vehicle accidents at 1:04 p.m. Wednesday on North Common Street, 3:32 p.m. on Boston Street, 4:11 p.m. on Lynn Shore Drive, 4:32 p.m. on South Common Street, 6:44 p.m. on Western Avenue, and 10:09 p.m. on Western Avenue.

Reports of motor vehicle problems at 1:49 a.m. Wednesday on Chestnut Street, 2:52 a.m. on Lynnfield Street, 3:07 a.m. on Alley Street, 1:13 p.m. on Oxford Street, and 4:30 p.m. on Essex Street. 

Reports of motor vehicles stops at 2:53 a.m. Wednesday on Eastern Avenue, 3:02 a.m. on North Common Street, 7:54 a.m. on Magnolia Avenue, 2:41 p.m. on High Rock Street, 3:46 p.m. on Boston Street, and 7:09 p.m. on Ellis Street. 

Noises

Reports of noises at 2:32 a.m. Wednesday on Lynnway and 3:54 p.m. on South Common Street. 

Trespassing 

Reports of trespassing at 12:25 a.m. Wednesday on Market Street, 2:42 a.m. on Washington Street, and 8:44 a.m. on Strawberry Avenue.

 

PEABODY

Arrests

Avian Eduardo Ruiz, 24, of Broadway in Haverhill, was arrested at 2:57 p.m. Wednesday for charges of receiving stolen property and larceny over $1,200.

Jarmany Colon, 24, of Oakland Avenue in Methuen, was arrested at 2:57 p.m. Wednesday for a charge of larceny over $1,200.

Reports of burglar alarms at 1:08 a.m. Wednesday at DHL on Centennial Drive, 3:15 a.m. at DHL on Centennial Drive, 3:18 a.m. at Expeditors on Jubilee Drive, 3:45 a.m. at Expeditors on Jubilee Drive, 9 a.m. at North Shore Bank on Main Street, 10:16 a.m. at Sally’s Beauty on Andover Street, and 9:18 p.m. at YMCA on Lynnfield Street.

A report of a carbon monoxide alarm at 9:06 p.m. Wednesday on Crane Brook Way.

A report of a hold-up alarm at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Arhaus on Andover Street.
