LYNN

Arrests 

Jayquan Jones, 29, of Erie Street, was arrested at 3:54 p.m. Tuesday for charges of cocaine and fentanyl trafficking, carrying a loaded firearm without a license, firearm use in a felony, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, reckless operation of a motor vehicle leaving the scene of property damage, failing to stop for police, and resisting arrest.

Bernabe Perez Esteban, 26, of Orchard Street, was arrested at 7:39 p.m. Tuesday for charges of operating under the influence, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, leaving the scene of property damage, and operating a motor vehicle without an inspection sticker.

Reports of fire alarms at 3:15 p.m. Tuesday on Chase Lane and 6:10 p.m. on Pleasant Street.

Breaking and Entering 

A report of past breaking and entering at 11:12 a.m. Tuesday on Western Avenue. 

Disturbances

Reports of disturbances at 9:59 a.m. Tuesday on Chestnut Street, 11 a.m. on President Street, 2:28 p.m. on Willow Street, 7:56 p.m. on Munroe Street, 8:54 p.m. on Liberty Street, and 8:55 p.m. on Willow Street.

Fights

A report of a fight at 9:36 p.m. Tuesday on Willow Street.

Hazardous Conditions

Reports of hazardous conditions at 12:04 p.m. Tuesday on Johnson Street, 3:06 p.m. on Verona Street, and 8:57 p.m. on Lewis Street.

Larceny 

Reports of larceny at 12:53 p.m. Tuesday on Jefferson Street and 7:05 p.m. on Lynnway.

Missing Persons

A report of a missing person at 12:52 p.m. Tuesday on Ocean Terrace.

Motor Vehicles

Reports of motor vehicle accidents at 6:39 a.m. Tuesday on Lynnfield Street, 1:37 p.m. on Federal Street, 1:42 p.m. on Parker Avenue, 4:54 p.m. on Essex Street, 5:04 p.m on Boston Street, 5:23 p.m. on Johnson Street, and 5:39 p.m. on Chatham Street.

Reports of motor vehicle problems at 11:09 a.m. Tuesday on Western Avenue and 6:07 p.m. on Lyman Street.

Reports of motor vehicle stops at 9:23 a.m. Tuesday on Washington Street, 10:42 a.m. on Market Street, and 3:41 p.m. on Union Street.

Noises

Reports of noises at 12:45 a.m. Tuesday on Lynnfield Street and 6:10 a.m. on Gateway Lane.

Threats

A report of a threat at 1:25 p.m. Tuesday on Lynnway.

Trespassing

Reports of trespassing at 2:51 a.m. Tuesday on Central Square, 3:58 a.m. on High Street, 9:32 a.m. on Nelson Street, and 9:57 a.m. on Huss Court.  

Uninvited Guests 

A report of an uninvited guest at 1:03 a.m. Tuesday on Chatham Street.

Arrests

Geronimo Confesor Espinal Sanchez, 46, of River Drive (Danvers), was arrested at 1:40 p.m. Tuesday for charges of another department’s warrant.

Reports of burglar alarms at 2:11 a.m. Tuesday at Outback Steakhouse on Andover Street, 2:38 a.m. at DHL on Centennial Drive, 4:16 a.m. at DHL on Centennial Drive, 6:50 a.m. at Burlington on Andover Street, 7:19 p.m. on Sherwood Avenue, 7:26 p.m. at Prestige Car Wash on Central Street, and 11:13 p.m. at DHL on Centennial Drive.

SAUGUS

Alarms

A report of a burglar alarm at 4:11 a.m. Tuesday at Town Fair Tire on Broadway. Building appears to be secure; a report at 10:12 a.m. on Adams Avenue. Building appears to be secure.  

Animal complaint

A report of an animal complaint at 10:07 a.m. Tuesday on Newhall Avenue. There was an injured turkey. Animal control officer notified; a report at 12:08 p.m. on Emory Street. Caller reported he had lost his dog. Animal control officer notified.

Disturbance

A report of a disturbance at 11:33 a.m. Tuesday at the Red Roof Inn on Broadway. Caller reported she believed she was being followed by another female in the lobby. Investigated.

Found Property

A report of found property at 11:53 a.m. Tuesday on Springdale Avenue. A man reported finding an iPhone in front of his home. Brought to station.

Lost Property

A walk-in report of lost property at 11:43 a.m. Tuesday at the Public Safety Building on Hamilton Street. A woman walked into the station and reported that she had lost her keys. Services rendered.

Motor Vehicles

A report of a motor vehicle accident at 9:42 a.m. Tuesday on Broadway. An accident was reported with injury. Medical assistance refused; a report at 12:02 p.m. at Burger King on Broadway. Caller reported an accident with injury. Report taken. 

A walk-in report of a break and entry into a motor vehicle at 10:49 a.m. Tuesday at the Public Safety Building on Hamilton Street. A man walked into the station and reported his vehicle had been broken into at his residence on Hurd Avenue over the weekend. Report taken. 

A report of a motor vehicle stop at 12:05 a.m. Tuesday on Dustin Street. Verbal warning; a report at 8:50 p.m. on Broadway. Citation warning.

Shoplifting

A report of shoplifting at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Macy’s on Broadway. Loss prevention reported they were detaining a juvenile shoplifter. Report taken. 

Suspicious Activity

A report of suspicious activity at 4:15 a.m. Tuesday on Bayfield Road. Caller reported a small compact sedan pulling into her neighbor’s driveway. A person exited the vehicle and walked around the house. Report taken; a report at 5:25 a.m. on Bayfield Road. Caller reported that there was an SUV parked in front of a home and the male occupant got out and went into the backyard. Officer reported a person in the rear with a flashlight. Officer reported they were unable to locate anyone in the yard to make contact with. Investigated.

Wires Down

A report of wires down at 5:54 a.m. Tuesday on Palmer Avenue. Caller reported a pole tat was down. National Grid contacted.

 

SWAMPSCOTT

Reports of area checks at 2:29 a.m. Tuesday on Paradise Road and 2:46 a.m. on Essex Street.

A report of a motor vehicle hit and run at 5:21 p.m. Tuesday on Paradise Road.

Reports of motor vehicle stops at 10:38 a.m. Tuesday on Brewster Terrace and Walker Road and  1:57 p.m. on Alvin Road and Essex Street.
