New Deputy Director has a vision for Beyond Walls

November 7, 2025 by Jackie Manno

LYNN – Beyond Walls has named Tiffany Daniel as its new Deputy Director, where she will work to advance the organization’s mission to strengthen New England communities through art.

Daniel first joined the nonprofit as Chief of Staff in 2024, where she balanced project management, strategic planning, and organizational operations. In her new role, she plans to scale her experience to a bigger picture focus, including grant applications, engaging donors, and development work.

Daniel describes herself as a “visionary” who is “really optimistic” about the direction she plans on taking Beyond Walls in the upcoming years.

“While we’re seeing a lot of challenges in funding the arts, we’re still doing tremendous work. We’re seeing so many community members wanting to bring Beyond Walls into their cities and do this work. I’m excited to expand the team and our reach,” Daniel said.

Daniel added, “The work Beyond Walls does is just epic. The work is profound and impactful. I want to dig my heels into that and commit to the future of Beyond Walls.”

Beyond Walls is an organization that introduces art to gateway cities, painting the city with murals from renowned artists. It also curates installations for corporations, developers, and businesses.

Beyond Walls Founder and CEO Al Wilson explained how Daniel’s accomplishments align with the Deputy Director role, highlighting his confidence in her skills.

“Over time Tiffany assumed responsibilities often associated with more senior roles. She helped build strategic partnerships, streamlined operations, supervised staff and programs, and established strong relationships with our artists, donors, commissioned services clients, and partners,” Wilson said.

Wilson added, “Our board and I thought it was important that her new title reflect her many contributions to Beyond Walls.”

Daniel earned a Master of Public Administration degree from Long Island University and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Leadership & Entrepreneurship from Florida Atlantic University.

Prior to joining Beyond Walls, Daniel was the Business Operations Manager at Via Separations, a clean-tech start-up. She previously served as Chief of Staff at the City University of New York (CUNY) School of Law; Project Lead in the Facilities and Design Division at New York Presbyterian Hospital; and Assistant Project Manager for Operations and Facilities at NuHealth Medical Center on Long Island.
