SAUGUS — The Saugus Middle High School Band and Chorus is inviting people to join them for a pancake breakfast, sponsored by the Saugus Band and Chorus Parents Association, to help raise funds for the group.

The breakfast will take place on Nov. 23 from 8:30-11:30 a.m. in the SMHS cafeteria at 1 Pearce Memorial Dr. Tickets are being pre-sold by band and chorus students and can also be purchased through the group’s Venmo: @SaugusBand. Tickets can also be purchased at the door. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children.

The proceeds from the breakfast will be used to fund field trips and equipment for the band and chorus, according to Michael Sullivan, a board member of the Saugus Band and Chorus Parents Association.

Sullivan also noted that the band has three upcoming events. The grades 8-12 Band and Choir will be performing on Dec. 5 at the Saugus Town Tree Lighting Ceremony. The grades 6-7 Band and Choir will have a concert on Dec. 17. Lastly, the grades 8-12 Band and Choir will have a concert on Dec. 18.

The event will also include photo opportunities with Santa Claus, musical performances, and raffle baskets.

For those who cannot attend the breakfast, the band and chorus also accept donations through their website.
