LYNN

Arrests

Derek Dingle, 39, of Washington Street, was arrested at 11:50 p.m. Monday for charges of larceny over $1200 and willful malicious wanton damage.

Terrance Moore, 37, was arrested at 2:34 p.m. Monday for charges of class B drug possession and trespassing.

Kevin Rios, 35, of Waverly Avenue, was arrested at 2:33 p.m. Saturday for charges of class B drug possession and trespassing.

Hazardous Conditions

Animal Complaint

A report of an animal complaint at 8:58 a.m. Monday on Walnut Street. Animal control responded to an injured deer/ Services rendered; a report at 10:38 a.m. on Elmwood Avenue. Animal control used two rounds to put down an injured raccoon. Services rendered.

Assault w/ Dangerous Weapon

A report of an assault with a dangerous weapon at 8:21 p.m. Monday at the Square One Mall on Broadway. Caller reported two teens tried to steal her car. Whe confronted they brandished a knife and punched her 10-year-old son in the stomach. Report taken.

Assist Citizen

A report of citizen assistance at 2:36 p.m. Monday at Walmart on Broadway. A woman called to report that her husband, while in a wheelchair, was struck by a motor vehicle in the Walmart parking lot. She stated that he husband did not inform her until they were on the way back to Melrose. Services rendered.

DPW Complaint

A report of a DPW complaint at 3:52 p.m. Monday on Viking Road. Caller reported a water line break in the area. DPW notified.

Found Property

A walk-in report of found property at 2:36 p.m. Monday at the Public Safety Building on Hamilton Street. A man walked into the station to drop off a toolbox he found on the side of Ballard Street. Report taken.

Motor Vehicle

A report of a motor vehicle accident at 8:45 a.m. Monday on Broadway at Osprey Road. Caller reported that he was involved in an accident with no injuries. Report taken; a report at 2:45 p.m. on Walnut Street at Blueridge Avenue. Caller reported a three-vehicle accident with no injuries or airbag deployment. Vehicle towed; a report at 7:13 p.m. at Kohl’s on Broadway. Caller reported a two-vehicle accident with no airbag deployment. One party reported injuries. Report taken.

A report of a motor vehicle stop at 3:49 a.m. Monday on Route 107 Southbound on the Salem Turnpike. Verbal warning; a report at 3:59 a.m. on Route 107 Northbound on the Salem Turnpike. Verbal warning; a report at 6:56 p.m. at Hair We Go Again on Central Street. Investigated; a report at 7:25 p.m. at Bob’s Store on Broadway. Citation warning; a report at 7:41 p.m. on Central Street at Knowles Avenue. Citation warning.

A report of a suspicious motor vehicle at 4:51 p.m. Monday on Broadway. Caller reported he may have been behind an intoxicated driver. Area search negative.

Noise Complaint

A report of a news complaint at 1:30 a.m. Monday on Broadway. Caller reported loud music coming from another apartment. Music was shut off for the evening. Services rendered.

Wires Down

A report of wires down at 8:43 a.m. Monday on Cleveland Avenue. Investigated.
