Animal Control

A report of animal control (dog complaint) at 8:16 a.m. Thursday on West Diane Road. The caller reported that their neighbors’ two German Shepherds got out and were running in the street. They were unable to get a hold of the owners. Dogs returned home. Services rendered.

Reports of area checks at 12:31 a.m. Thursday in Big Y Plaza on Lowell Street, 12:50 a.m. on Johnson Street, 2:41 a.m. at Brooksby Farm on Felton Street 

Building/Property Checks

Reports of building/property checks at 12:49 a.m. Thursday at Covenant Christian Academy on Pine Street, 1:54 a.m. at Congregation Tifereth Israel on Pierpont Street

Citizen Assistance

A report of citizen assistance at 4:30 a.m. Thursday on Littles Lane. Caller thinks her apartment is flooding. Cause was from a water heater. Services rendered; a report at 2:52 p.m. at the Police Department on Allens Lane. Services rendered.

Disturbance

A report of a disturbance at 1:34 p.m. Thursday at Citizens Inn on Washington Street. Two residents were in a verbal dispute. Both parties left. Investigated. 

Disturbances/Parties/Music

A report of a disturbance/party/music at 4:08 a.m. Thursday on Andover Street. Caller reported loud noise in the unit about his. Peace restored; a report at 6:58 a.m. on Crowninshield Street. Loud noise was coming from another unit. Services rendered.  

Gas/Odor Problem

A report of a gas/odor problem at 12:31 p.m. Thursday on Hog Hill Road. There was a strong odor of gas. Taken/referred to other agency. 

Motor Vehicles

A report of a motor vehicle accident at 11:23 a.m. Thursday at Dunkin’ on Newbury Street. It was a minor accident. Investigated; a report at 12:08 p.m. on Main Street at Central Street. There were no injuries, and parties left prior to officer arrival. No action required; a report at 1:40 p.m. at Tremont Cleaners on Washington Street. It was an accident with no injuries. Investigated. 

Suspicious Activity

A report of suspicious activity at 1:02 a.m. Thursday at the Bell Inn on Washington Street. Caller believed she found a bag of a controlled substance in the parking lot while walking her dog. Investigated; a report at 5:51 a.m. at Hertz Car Rental on Andover Street. Caller believed he was being followed for the last hour. He has a history of issues with his ex. Services rendered. 

Threats

A report of threats at 5:51 p.m. Thursday on Allens Lane. It was a walk-in reporting threats.
